Sunday: July 11

"Good morning sweetheart, you're up early" My mom said as I walked into the kitchen for breakfast that morning.

"Good morning mom," I hugged her "yeah, I couldn't really get any sleep last night. Dad left for work already?" I had questioned her while fixing myself a bowl of cereal.

"Yeah, said he wanted an early start. You know how he can be." We both giggled. She was right, dad did love his job. We spent the rest of that early morning chatting away about different things since we haven't talking in awhile. My mom was always traveling and in different countries because she was a traveling nurse. She was always helping people and saving lives and was just all around amazing at her job. My dad worked as a publisher with some big company and made lots of money. We were a wealthy family and that I was grateful for.

I finish up my breakfast and washed my dishes then made my way back to my bedroom to check on Grace. She was fully awake on her phone giggling and texting someone. I jumped on the bed and cuddled her back, she tensed a bit, I scared her I guessed.

"Who you texting angel?" I questioned out of curiosity.

"Oh, no one important." She said, starting to relax and getting out of bed. I laid there and watched her head for the bathroom. Her phone vibrated and lit up as I looked over at it. I didn't bother it because I trusted her. Big Mistake.
