❝ i will literally cry ❞

WAKING up the first thing Riley noticed was the bright sun bursting onto her face. Second thing, was the boy, asleep facing her. A second of shock because he wasn't there when she fell asleep. No one was.

It was 11:44 pm. The apartment still stood silent. Nothing but the TV in her room faintly playing Austin and Ally. Still alone. She came to the conclusion that Corey's probably spending the night at Ben's place. But she doesn't know about Olivia and Joshua.

She watches him for a couple minutes. Inevitably, his chocolate eyes flutter open. A soft smile grows in his lips seeing the girl. His arms pull her into a lose hug. "I missed you," His voice is distorted because his cheek is pressed up against her head.

"I saw you the other day." She giggles enjoying the closeness and comfort.

"Not yesterday. You fled in the morning, and Liv and I didn't get back until 1 in the morning." He was calm. She liked it, the fact that he's what everyone says about him. A baby.

"Well, you have me today. I only have a night show and zero press." Her soft hand cups his cheek.

"I better, if not then I will literally cry." The two laugh, they together like really together. A secret scream that couldn't seem to escape, until the universe answered for them.

The sound of her room door opening shocked them. Their head whip to the open door. In the door frame stood Olivia ressing in actual clothes and all put together. "I am so sorry, I just wanted to let you know that I was gonna head out. You know, to get brunch for us. I-I'll be back." She was awkward the fled fast closing the door.

The moment left, so Riley stood up and walked over to her closet. Picking out her outfit she asks, "What did you two end up doing last night?" Some part of her just wanted to know like how someone would start a conversation. A smaller part of her wanted to trust him to badly and wanted answers.

"We started by just walking through Times Square. Then a couple hours later we made our way to watch Cursed Child which I know now is your favorite musical. We bumped into Corey and Ben there. We ate dinner at this ramen restaurant. A little more shopping around" He says still lazily lying in bed. He pushes a pillow onto his face not wanting to get up.

"C'mon Joshy," Riley says in her baby voice as her hand lay out in front of him doing gimme gimme.

"Nope." her snuzzles in the blankets deeper. Grabbing her hand and quickly pulling her back into the warm bed. "Oops, you're back that sucks. Maybe it's a sign we should just say in bed." he cheekily smiles.

"Okay one episode, that's it." She gives in.

"Riley meet That 70's Show." he says starting up Netflix.
