Last time we meet

Heyyyyyy guys! I know updates kinda come out of nowhere so I want to thank all of you guys for staying tuned. I had this one ready and waiting so for Christmas I wanted to make sure it got out for you guys! It might be a little after Christmas but here it is. Enjoy!!!!

Dear diary

What's up
Been a while my diary was confiscated because of a witch (Melanie) I guess shes not fully over our little dinner date but I understand that, but she didn't have to get my diary confiscated like WTH.....anyway
Remember how I said Jack and I were going to check up in Kat. Well we did and let's just say it was shocking. Well I bet your saying "what happened?"
"Tell me!" "Spit it out!!!!"

Well fine it's the weekend... and I have time

We get to her house and Jack stops to tie his shoe
then we notice something strange outside her gate
It's a trash bag full of house items
We walk up to her door and there is a box sitting on her door step with Kats name on it.
Jack began to panic So did I... but just for a second.
I knocked on the door.
It slowly began to open.
It was her dad he was hold a box that said kitchen.
He said "Oh hi are you here to see Kathrine?"
We nod and suddenly hear
"Who is it dad"... it's Kat!
She comes around the corner and sees us...
But she doesn't look happy, she looks sad.
She almost looks like she's gonna cry.
Kats dad says... "I'll give y'all a minute and heads back inside"
Kat comes outside and sits on the porch steps
Jack and I sit next to her

We didn't know what to say and I'm sure she didn't know where to begin.
Suddenly Kat said... " Tomorrow "
Of course we're both confused
"What", Jack says.
"I leave in tomorrow." Kat replies
Jack stands up urgently "WHAT WHY"
he's angry and confused and has no sense of reason.
He blurts, "so you were just going to LEAVE, without saying GOODBYE!"
She tries to speak "Jack please lis-"
NO! No way! Some friend you are!! I can't believe you! We've been friends for years...we've been FRIENDS FOR FOREVER and your just gonna leave without saying anything!"
He had lost it, so I had to step in.
"JACK" I said.
"We have to listen to her before we get upset."
Jack replied rudely, "what could she possibly say that could change what she's done."
Well we have to listen to her to find out, I said.
"NO! I don't want to hear her sorry excuses. I won't!" Jack replied ruthlessly
"bronchial cancer" Kat whispered
"What?" Jack replied
"I HAVE BRONCHIAL CANCER YOU JERK THATS WHY IM LEAVING", Kat screamed
It's quite again.
"You think I wanted this. You think I want to die." Kat cries
Jacks speechless
"Where are you going?" I stutter
"Washington... there is supposed to be a really good doctor there." Kat says
"I'm sorry" Jack says
Kat and Jack link eyes
"I didn't mean it. I was hurt, and I took it out on you. I'm sorry, I'm sorry." Jack says tearfully.
Kat stands up and helps Jack up.
Kat embraces Jack and says, "I know."
We all participate in a tearful embrace.
"I'll bring you a going away present" I say.
She doesn't reply.
"What's wrong?" Jack says.
It's quite once again
A tear runs down her face
"No need for gifts...since... this is the last time we will ever see each other." She wails
"I don't understand, why?" I question
"We can't take a lot with us..." she said.
But it was obvious she was holding something else back.
You can tell us. Jack said trying to comfort her.
"The doctor says I have about a 50% chance of survival." She says
The fear instantly struck us.
"Can't they do anything to help the chances!" Jack worries.
"They said if they'd caught it sooner it wouldn't have been so low but because I didn't come in sooner..." she says
" it's not your fault though, it's there's!" I urge.
"Even so it what happened." Kat says.
We sat in the silence again...
"Kat!!!!" Kats dad yells.
"This is the last time we'll meet."
She says hopelessly, as she walks back inside and closes the door behind her.
