"Ma'am, he's waking up," Deb informed me.

I clapped my hands at perfection. "Wonderful, thank you." I brought the try upstairs, going into the bedroom where Kilgrave was sitting up. "Good morning."

Kilgrave groaned. "Morning, I think."

"You've been asleep for a day or so. I brought you back home," I said, setting down the tray of breakfast food in front of him.

"And you took care of me?"

I gave a shy shrug. "I did what I had to do."

Kilgrave looked at me cautiously. "Why are you doing this?"

I scoffed, sitting next to him. "Why am I -- are you serious?" I stood up, going to the door. "I figure this would happen. You can't love anyone, can you? Is that why you're so lost by my actions? I saved you and you question why?"

I gritted my teeth, slamming the door behind me. Deb ran to my assistants, but I assured her I was fine for now. I went outside to cool off, but that didn't work so much. That fire I felt in my hands was actually fire. I looked down and my hands were blazing.

"Fuck!" I mumbled under my breath, shaking the fire out.

I sat down on the few steps before it turned to grass. Why would I think Kilgave could ever love anything? Why did I think I could love him? I was obviously a fool and was wasting time with him.

I took a deep breath and exhaled. Hearing a voice, I shook my head.

"Juliet?" Kilgrave called, sitting next to me. "I am sorry, Juliet."

"Sorry for what? Telling me to choose and pushing me away after I did?"

Kilgrave shook his head, slightly. "I realized that you care about me because you saved me."

I scoffed. "Well, if you weren't too busy trying to die -- you have heard me say that I love you."

Kilgrave's face lite up. "You love me? Really? You chose me the same way I chose you?"

"Yes. I have a while and I when I saw you get shot, it made everything clear." I crawled over and straddled Kilgrave, rubbing his ears. "I love you."

He chuckled in excitement. "It's true. You love me. Oh, baby, I love you too."

We chuckled together as we kissed. Kilgrave gripped my hips. I kissed his neck up to his ear.

"What do you say, we go upstairs and I can show you what you've missed out all these years," I whispered in his ear, kissing it.

Kilgrave chuckled. "I think that would be a splendid idea."

We giggled all the way upstairs, making our way to the bedroom. I had to be gentle because I didn't want to hurt him. Kilgrave kissed me as we took each other's clothes off. His kisses trailed down my body as he laid me on the bed. I moaned, pushing him to his back, taking the lead. Straddling him, my hands ran up his chest. The gasp and moan from his lips made my kisses go lower.

I laid my head on Kilgrave's chest, listening to his heartbeat slow down. His finger softly rubbed the side of my arm while my finger drew circles on him.

"I guess this makes it official," I whispered, kissing him lightly.

"Yes, I suppose so." Kilgrave smiled down at me. "Spending the rest of our lives together, just like this, with you. Whatever you want, you can have."

I looked up at him, resting my chin on him. "I think we need to work on a few things, first."

"Oh, yeah? What would that be?"
