Ch. 9

When jace leaves the room I grab my phone hoping it still works I'm relived when the I phone symbol comes on. I finally get to my messages and see what Connor had said.

*eva* connor jace seen the messages and broke my phone he also left the room idk if he's coming there or if he's still here I'm sorry if I put you in danger.

When I finish the message my door opens and I try to cover myself. The door is slammed shut and I'm left with a ego broken jace.

"So you think he's better" he asks.

There's a long pause then he asks again.

"Get dressed we're going to see lover boy" he says.

"No please don't hurt him he's innocent in all of this" I tell him "it's me I was the one who started it" I add.

"Yea but he finished it" my mind adds and I smirk.

"You are playing a dangerous game I'm this close to hurting someone" he says showing with his index and thumb.

"But why we're not together" I say pointing back and forth to both of us.

"Your such a slut you keep sleeping with me and nick and now his roommate" he says and gets closer to me.

"Look he doesn't even want me he wants me to make him into a bad boy so he can get all the girls" I tell him.

"Well let's go see him then shall we" he throws some clothes at me and pulls me out to his car when I'm dressed.

It doesn't take long to get to the dorms and I hope that there not home.
"Look it's not fair if you start a fight with him he doesn't know how to fight" I say rambling trying to get him to change his mind. As we climb the three floors to get to their dorm a uneasy feeling grows in me.

When we reach the door I can hear music playing. Jace knocks and it doesn't take long for Connor to answer. He only sees me when he opens the door jace steps out of view.

"Hey eva what do I owe this pleasure" Connor greets me.

Jace moves behind me and startles Connor jace is a half foot taller than him making him look enormous. His muscles don't help adding more to intimidate people. Connor moves aside letting us enter.

"Nick ain't home right now" he begins to say but is cut off.

"So I was told that you had fun with my girl here" jace says cutting him off.

"Yes but tell him that you like someone else that I'm helping you" I say quickly before jace can make me be quite.

He stays quiet but nods his head yes. We set in silence for a minute when jace breaks the silence.

"So who's this gurl that you like" he asks and with no hesitation connor speaks.

"Well there is shay I'm into brunettes any way" he replies.

"Ouch that hurt" my mind chimes in.

"Well trust me you won't have no problem getting with her" I say rude like "she will jump anything with a heart beat" I add.

"And your any better" jace says "you had sex with me ,nick, and now Connor" he adds.

"I was a virgin when I met you" I raise my voice at jace.

"Well I definitely wasn't" jace says.

As jace sits and tells Connor about his slutty ways I sit and think about Connor saying he likes brunettes better. Well it would make sense his girlfriend had short brown hair. Shay will probably give him a std but at least she will get what she wants sort of.

"Ain't that right eva" Connor says "what" I reply.

"You are gonna teach me how to box" he says then I remember what I had said to him before.

"Oh yea" I tell them.

"Oh please eva a boxer Yea she never boxed before" he says.

"Well after you mentally and sometimes physically abused me I decided to take lessons, and I'll let you know I knocked one of nicks buddy's out cause he called me a slut" I tell him.

"Well he wasn't wrong" he says and I cut my eyes at him.

"I'm done I'm leaving don't follow me and don't come back to the house" I say and walk out the door.

It takes thirty five minutes on foot to get back to the house. I've been walking for fifteen minutes when I hear a motor pull up beside me.

"I told you to leave me alone jace" I says not looking over.

"It's not jace" Connor says making me snap my head at him I never seen his vehicle before he had nice taste. A 1976 corvette black in color sounded original.

I stop walking and get in the car.
"So do you want me to tell shay that you like her" I ask looking straight ahead.

"No, she ain't the one I really want I was just telling him that" he replies.

"Really well who is it then" I asks.

"I can't say but for now shay will be my cover" he says.

"Well when she finds out she's gonna jump your bones, she's been wanting to the first day she seen you" I tell him emphasizing on the jumping your bones part.

"We're did jace go" I ask thinking he would know.

"He said something about going to a bar" he tells me.

"The only reason we came over here was because his ego was hurt" I tell him.

"How did his ego get hurt" he asks.

"I called your name out during sex" I tell him and he pulls over on the side of the road.

"You mean to say this was because you screamed my name" he says laughing.

"Yes , you was a virgin not knowing what you was doing and was still better than him" I say joining in laughing.

When we get to the house all the lights are off.

"So can I come in" Connor asks.

"I wouldn't I don't know when he's gonna be back and he will be drunk so there's no telling what he will do" I tell him.

"Eva I know how to fight if it come down to it" he says turning his head to look at me.

I just shake my head and get out he signals me to come to his door and he rolls the window down. He leans over and kisses me "I thought you didn't like blondes" I says.

"Your an exception" he says with a smirk and drives off.

"What just happened did he just go bad boy" my mind says confused about it all.
