I thought it would be a peaceful dreamless sleep. I was wrong!
I walked down the hall way, the noises of the fire alarm going off. "Hope" my voice is hoarse like I hadn't talked for ages. "Mum, dad" I scream but, the words swallowed up by the noises of the alarm. Then the world disappears slowly at first but then all at once until I'm standing on a cloud. Hope walks up to me-
-"beeeeeep"
"Huh" I sit up check my surroundings. It was only a dream. I'm in my room. Safe and sound. Walking to the closet I try to find something to wear, "not this, nope, definitely not, never again, maybe never" I mumble under my breath as I notice how little clothing I have. I'll ask Katie tomorrow to go shopping. Wait. No school tomorrow, why does school start in the middle of the week? Never mind.
Walking downstairs I can hear the easy banter of hope and mum, they get along so well. "Hey, hope, mum" I look at them both.
"Cali" hope runs up to me and gives me the biggest hug. Ok?
"Hey Cali bear. Are you feeling ok?" Mum asks. I'm fine, I want to say.
"Why?" I ask
"You look so pale and your shaking" now she says it I don't feel to good. I collapsed onto the ground not a beautiful fall like when the movie stars faint a horrible ground shaking one.
