We have been home all of five minutes and my mother has already fallen head over heels in love with Liam. Lucky for him my father and brother aren't home yet.

"Samantha darling can you throw on your apron and help me pour this brine over the turkey?" my mom says as she is vigorously scrubbing the inside of our Thanksgiving dinner. I  grab my old apron hanging on the kitchen door where I last left it, light Blue with pink peonies covering it. It was the last thing my nana made for me before she died.

"Do you ladies need a hand?" Liam gestures as he walks over ready to grab the very large pot from my mother.

"Absolutely not! I wouldn't want you to get your nice clothes all dirty, you have a seat and relax and Sammy will bring you out a drink." Liam smirks as he walks into the living room, while I roll my eyes at the way my mom has to call me Sammy.

"Mom seriously do you have to call me that?"

"Call you what dear?"

Rolling my eyes I look at her beautiful face, she looks a lot like me with dark brown hair cut to her shoulders very little gray specks running through it. She has light brown eyes unlike my blue eyes which I get from my dad, and even though she is forty-six she could pass for thirty-eight, she never wore a lot of makeup but always took care of her skin.

"You know exactly what I'm talking about."

"So he is a cutie, is he single?"

"Mom...."

"What I'm allowed to ask questions, would you rather me ask him? Because you know I will."

"No don't ask him any questions, and no he has a girlfriend so whatever it is you are thinking stop," I say to her, just saying that he has a girlfriend has my fist clenching.

"Well that's a bummer.." she huffs.

I finished helping my mom prep the turkey, and head into the living room to find Liam and London praying they have not killed each other yet. Only to find them both laughing at a comedy show on tv.

"There you are, did you guys finish up in there?" London asks once she finally notices me standing in the doorway.

"Yep all done, here I  brought you guys some lemonade," I say handing them each a glass.

"It looks like I won your mum over." Liam gloats.

"Hold on there buddy, don't be getting too cocky just yet, you still haven't met my dad or brother," I say raising my eyebrows.Liam's face becomes worried as he looks from me to London waiting for one of us to tell him why he should be worrying.

London burst out laughing"oh man you should see your face Liam, you look petrified!" I begin to giggle along with London as Liam glares at the two of us. "You will be fine, I'm sure they will love you just like the rest of the family."

"Hey! You're supposed to be on my side." I say glaring at London while Liam glances in my direction with a smug look on his already cocky face "what do you mean by family? That lady in there may love him, but don't look at me."

Before London could say anything the door swings open and in walks my dad and brother Seth.

"Daddy! I've missed you" I run-up to my dad wrapping him in the biggest hug. I've always been a daddy's girl  I remember growing up my mother would always have these baking classes for me on the weekends, and while we would bake my dad would take Seth outside and teach him how to fix the car or mow the lawn.

As much as I loved baking with my mom I always wanted to go outside with the boys. It got to the point my parents decided to switch off every other weekend, Seth would bake while I helped dad and the following weekend we would switch again. It's safe to say we are both really great bakers and handymen.
