The American smiled before France and England moved away From him. Canada smiled at them moving closer to the big teddy bear next to him.

"Ve~ shall we continue reading the stories?" The nations nodded watching the small Italian flick through to another page.

"Let's see~" the Italian felt the page feeling the indentations.
"Ve~ it's asian...complicates characters..."

The asians in the room looked up and looked at each other before watching Hong Kong get up. He walked over to the book and read it.
"Chinese...my guess it's China's..."
The tall asian bit his lip looking at the others.
"It's private...really private and personal...anki.... (brother)....do you want to read it...." China looked around before walking towards his younger brother, almost son. The room went silent as China read his own entry.
"I-I....I can't...is there nothing else we can do...I know it sounds selfish...but I..." China trailed on missing his signature 'Aru' the room knew it was bad if China would make such a request.

And knowing at the way he looked the asians knew it was bad. Terrible. Hell for their older relative.
"Japan...can you see this...I...I think you need to read it..."
Japan walked to his lover and brother. Japan who could still read the mandarin on the page read it all.

It was quiet before the island nation closed his eyes before walking out of the room.
The nations looked at each other.
"Is it really that bad anki?" Taiwan asked looking at the two Chinese nations. The two of them nodded.

"Ve...so..."
"So what...that sushi bastard is upset so it really must be bad!"
Italy nodded at his brother.
"I think Ve should read it" the nations looked shocked at germany.

Did he not know how bad it would be knowing that japan is obviously upset and disturbed by it.
"I don't think we should" it was Korea's turn to speak and the nations nodded. Germany sighed.

"If Ve DONT hurry up ve vont get out of here so man up! I know that it must be bad but how else vill Ve be able to help you China?!"
China looked shocked. Did the German not care? Dose he not know how painful it is? Could he not tell by three reactions. Negative ones. Two from nations that rarely showed their feelings?

"Bruder...your being too harsh..." Prussia tapped his shoulder lightly.
"Calm down ok...China is obviously disturbed by this and it vill take him time..."

China grabbed the diary and closed it before keeping it tight in his hand, walking out to the smaller nation.

"Germany...I...I don't know how to say this dude...but...I have a feeling what it is...to get such reactions from China japan and Hong Kong. Surely you know don't you? I know that I can. The pained look in China's eyes. The way that Hong Kong had to ask to read it. The fact that China wanted to protect the First Nation he raised as a child."

Everyone looked up at him. He's rarely serious, so seeing him speak like this. It was surprising.

"I know that, but don't you vant to go home? Or do you vant to keep thinking about that seeing the sadness our friends go through ?"

They all looked down except Germany who kept his eyes locked on the American.

"I want to go home...but it's...how do I put it...like you put italy through auschwitz and putting Prussia through it too..."

Everyone was quiet. Hong Kong's eyes went wide.
"How did you know it was that..."
The American gave the asian nation a sympathetic smile.
"Japan told me, he told me and how it hurts him knowing his own people did it...and how he never wanted to participate in the war like Germany and Italy...it was his boss who forced him..."
