Warnings; Violence?

"Please, Dutch! It ain't that big of a deal, I won't leave your nor Arthur or Hosea's sight!" You pleaded. Sometimes, Dutch could be quite protective, and even though you didn't mind most of the time. It could still be a little too much.

Dutch let out a sigh, "It's dangerous, Y/N." He stopped, to look at you. The look of your puppy eyes was just enough to let Dutch make the decision.  "Fine. Don't leave my sight. I mean it Y/N." He said with a stern look on his face. A smile spread across your face, and you gave him a big hug. "Thank you!" Dutch patted your back with a smile.

-Later that day-

You were about to mount your own horse, when Dutch took a hold of your wrist. "No. You ride with me." A frown appeared, but you didn't say anything.

As you all mounted up and rode to Valentine, you overheard something come from nearby. It sounded like a scream, but since no one did or said anything about it, you just shrugged it off.

"Here we are, now remember. Don't do anything stupid. We have to try atleast to fit in. Then we can go back to our usual habitat." Dutch told you all. You nodded and soon enough, you we're all infront of the saloon.

-Inside the Saloon-

You, Dutch, Hosea and Arthur all sat down in a corner. Dutch ordered something for you all...well all except for you. A frown appeared on your face, when you noticed Dutch didn't get you anything.

Hosea saw the frown on your face, and decided to talk to Dutch.

"Dutch, listen. I know Y/N is a little young and all, but it isn't exactly fair, that we're sitting here, enjoying our drink, while she gets to just, sit and watch. And it's been a long time since Y/N here got out of camp. Don't you think she deserves to enjoy herself? Just this once?"

Dutch mumbled something under his breath, and let out a sigh,

"Fine!" He threw his hands up in defeat, "she can have a drink, but on-ly one!" He turned to face you, "and if I see you get another drink, you'll stay in camp for a long long time, alright miss L/N?"

You were quick to nod, and he went to get you a drink.

"Thank you Hosea, I really appreciate that." You smiled to the older man. "Don't you worry about. Now enjoy! Who knows when you'll get to enjoy another drink."

When Dutch got back, you all cheered and talked. Mostly about the camp, and how Arthur should start staying a bit more in camp, instead of wandering off, doing whatever he does.

"Hey, listen. I'm 'wandering' off, because I've got a lot of business to attend! Ain't my fault.."

Your laughter quickly got interrupted when a guy about Arthur's age, came to your table.

He was looking at you all, "Hello guys!" then his eyes landed on yours, "hello ma'am." The man tried to kiss your hand, but Arthur and Dutch quickly got up from their seat, ready to kill this guy, if it got to it. You we're too confused, as Hosea pulled you over to his side, to protect you.

"Hey, hey y'all. I don't want no trouble here. I just want to ask the lady, if she wants to dance! There's on harm in that." He told them.

"Yeah, and she doesn't want to. Now get lost." Arthur spoke up. Meaning what he said, by making eye contact with the guy.

He crossed his arms, "Yeah? Well I didn't hear that from her mouth." That only lead to a punch from Arthur.

And that quickly got into a fight between the two of them. Arthur pinning him to the ground, while throwing punches. Then another guy, decided to join in the fight, and threw a chair towards Arthur.

Dutch punched the guy, that threw the chair, and Hosea got you out of the Saloon.

"Hosea, what do we do? We can't just leave them in there!" You told him.

Hosea sighed, "I know, dear. But we can't join them either. That'll just earn us a bigger mess. Even so, I'm sure Arthur and Dutch knows what they're doing. They know how to fight. Atleast Arthur does. Dutch knows how to get out of one." He chuckled, trying to light up the mood.

You smiled, but it slowly got filled with concern and guilt. "Hosea, this is my fault. I shouldn't have asked Dutch. Heck, I shouldn't have begged, when he said no. Now look where this got us. They're in there and we're out here. I-I'm sorry, Hosea... I ruined your night."

He grabbed both of your shoulders, "Hey. None of this is your fault, Y/N. You couldn't have known, that you coming along, would have led to this. And it's understandable, that you wanted to get out of camp. You've been 'locked up' in there for ages." He sighed, "Listen. Don't get guilty over something you couldn't predict or know."

Just as Hosea finished the sentence, Dutch stormed out of the saloon, with Arthur right behind him.
"Let's go, I think we're done here."  He told you.

They all whistled for their horses, and Dutch lifted you up on his. When you we're all ready, you rode back to camp.

On the way back, you gave yourself a reminder to apologise to Dutch. Even after what Hosea said, you still felt that was the right thing to do.

-At camp-

When you all dismounted, you quickly asked Dutch if he could talk.

"Is something wrong? Did you get hurt?" He asked with concern. You smiled and told him no.
"Dutch, I just wanted to say, that I'm sorry. I'm sorry that I begged you for me to come along, and I'd understand, if I'm not allowed to go out anymore." You said.

Dutch furrowed his eyebrows. "Sorry? There's nothing to be sorry for, my dear. You did nothing wrong. The only person that did something wrong, was that guy, who didn't take 'no' for an answer." He told you.

You hugged him tighlty, and muttered a 'thank you', while he just held you in his arms.

"I'm glad your safe, if you would have gotten hurt, I would have gone back there myself and murder the whole Saloon." You just chuckled at his sentence.

After a while you went to your tent. Smiling, and feeling lucky, that you got such a great family.
