Chapter 1~ Reunion

Previously: Alex has discovered that Z or Zev is his father. Now it is time for some explaining.....I would advise you that it is better to read the first book before moving on to this book. It could cause some (A lot) of confusion. Hope you enjoy! ^^

Z was still holding Alex in his arms. 14 years had passed since he had seen Alex and could act as his father. Yin disliked Z for a reason, he was from a foreign country. Alex's birth was never supposed to happen, it went against all the family tradition. The Hirayanagi bloodline was now tainted by a European bloodline. Yet, Z understood what Alex was going through because he was also from a mixed bloodline.

He knew what it felt to be the black sheep of the family. However, Z never wanted Alex to go through what he went to as well. But, things don't always end up the way that you want. He had planned on staying in Alex's childhood, but Yin had other plans for their family. As Alex's fist birthday approached, Yin took Z outside to talk. After that talk Z didn't see Alex again, until he started working in the main store in the village.

As Z relased his hold on Alex, and wiped the tears from Alex's face. He regretted leaving Alex and his mother with his grandfather. This was one of the many things that Z could not change. But you can't change what you have done in the past.

"Why did you leave?" asked Alex, ending the silence in the room. Z tensed for a second, he knew that the question was coming sooner or later. Yet, he never imagined this soon.

"Did he have something to do with it?" he asked, Z noticed a tinge of resentment in Alex's voice.

"I didn't leave Alex," Z replied, he knew that Alex needed to hear the truth. Even if it will break his relationship with his grandfather. Alex narrowed his his eyes, he knew that Z was not telling him all the truth.

"Alex, before you do anything reckless let me explain everything to you," said Z

Alex tensed, part of him wanted to hear the whole truth. But, the other part didn't. Z seemed nervous and Alex felt it.

"I didn't exactly leave Alex.."

"I was shunned from the family," Alex eyes instantly filled with hatred. The only person that has the power to shun a person out of the family is the family head. The current family head was his grandfather,

"Not by force Alex," Alex froze.......What did he mean not by "force"?

"I chose to be shunned Alex...."

Alex started to shake, his father chose to leave him.

"Why? W-why did you chose to leave father?" asked Alex in disbelief. Zev hesitated, if Alex got this upset just telling him that he left willingly.... telling him the truth might just be too much. Alex's anger was starting to get the best of him. If his father had the choice to leave or stay.....then why did he choose to leave. Why not stay? He didn't understand......

Zev chose to leave for a completly different reason of what Alex was thinking. He left to protect him, from what in Alex's mind seemed as the only blood-realted person left to him. To protect him from his own ......Grandfather
