After my workout I take a quick shower and get dressed in some nike athletic shorts and a oversized shirt with some sandals. I walk out of my room and go to the kitchen making a smoothie before we walk the school. I grab my phone and text Gus to let him know I was ready to go but I just had to wake Zoey.

I put my phone on the counter and grab a big bowl from one of the cabinets. I fill the bowl with cold water from the sink, I slowly walk to the couch where I here Zoey snoring, and pour the water on her. I drop the bowl on the ground, and run back to the kitchen to grab my phone. Once I have my phone in my hand I run to my room and I close the door locking it behind me so that Zoey can't get into my room.

One thing that I know about Zoey is that she does not, under any circumstances, like being woken up. Hence the fact that I ran from her. Back home we used to prank one another while we were sleeping, which made our parents mad because they would hear us yelling in the middle of the night. We would end up running through our houses and neighbors in the middle of the night or when ever we would prank each other, but here I didn't know anywhere other than my room to go.

A few seconds after I lock my door, I hear Zoey pounding on my door and yelling that she was going to kill me because I messed her hair up. I know she isn't going to get in the room so I grab my deodorant and put it on along with my perfume, after getting done with them I put them back in their spots. I text Gus again telling him to give us about ten minutes and Zoey will be ready.

I swing my door open after about two minutes, causing Zoey to fall because she was leaning against the door still banging on it. I'm surprised there isn't a hole in it from how hard she was hitting it. I help her up and tell her that I'll blow dry her hair due to the fact that I messed it up. Walking to the room she yells at me because apparently it took her 30 minutes for her hair to look that good, but to me it just looked like she rolled out of bed.

We walk to her bathroom and she sits on the tub while I grab her blow dryer. "Zoey how do you feel knowing that we aren't anywhere near anything that we know? We are thousands of miles away and don't have the safety of hiding in the woods like we used to when we didn't want to go to school. I'm kinda terrified, like what about us made us so different from everyone else back home? What did we do for our parents to hate us so much?" I ask while plugging in the blow dryer with tears in my eyes.

For as long as I can remember my parents have hated me and have treated me like I was just another thing that they had to deal with. They never were proud of me when I would bring home good grades. They never let me do anything other than just go to school, after school I always had to come straight home. I wasn't allowed to go to the movies as a kid, so I snuck out one night and dressed like someone else so that I could go. I wasn't allowed to go to the mall either so one day Zoey and I skipped school and went. We did a lot of things that we weren't allowed to do just because we skipped school or snuck out in the middle of the night while our parents were asleep.

"Bella. Stop crying. We are better off here instead of back home. We weren't treated the way that we should have. Our own parents hated us, we had to go against their rules just so that we could have a life outside of school. I feel more at home here than I did there. It scares me that I feel that way, but I do. No matter what it will always be my home town, but I feel welcomed here, and I don't feel like I'm left out like I did back home." Explains Zoey. She's right though. No matter if we will miss back home we are welcomed here.

I guess I zone out while blow drying her hair, because I feel her yank the dryer out of my hand. I apologize, while walking out of her room we hear a knock on the door. I look at Zoey and say "That might be Gus, so I'll go get the door. Grab a water bottle because I don't want to hear you complain about being thirsty." She nods her head in response walking towards the kitchen, while I walk to the door and opening it. I was expecting Gus but it wasn't him, instead there is a guy that looks to be around 17 standing at the door.

"I'm sorry sir, I think that you may have the wrong room number." I tell the boy, but he shakes his hand and says "This is the room of Bella and Zoey, right?" I mood my head in response and he continues "My name is Daniel, but you can call me Dan. The dean sent my friend and I to show you guys around the school." Well this should be fun I say to my self, but I say "Come in. I'm waiting for Gus so we can wait inside, there's no point in standing in the door way." I move over a bit so that the boy can come in and sit.

Shortly after we walk inside and go to the living room there is another knock on the door. I go to the door answering it again, and this time it is Gus. Except, it's not just Gus, standing next to him is Parker. Yeah the guy from the store that I definitely was checking out. Looking at me he smirks with his hands in his pockets. In the back I hear someone running through the apartment, so I turn around and see Zoey running between the kitchen and her bedroom. She has yet to realize that there are more people than just her and I in the living room, let alone 3 guys and I. She looks like she has gone crazy, but I know that she is crazy. Hell both of us are crazy. It took me clearing my throat for her to finally look around her, and stop running.

"What the fuck! Dude why didn't you tell me that there was people here!" Zoey yells, and I roll my eyes "There is literally only 3 other people in this room. Are you actually stupid, we have to go tour the school remember?" I respond to her stupid remark. "Dude I'm tired can we just wait until later?" Asks Zoey and that ticks me off so I drag her into her room and yell at her. I walk out of her room and apologize to the 3 guys that are in our living room, but she stays back in her room doing god knows what. She comes running out of her room and sprays me with silly string.

"Really?!? We have to leave Zoeyyyyyy!" I yell. "GIRLS!! Go clean up, we don't have time for this, there is going to be way more people than just you guys touring the school. So that means, Zoey go help Bella clean up, because we should have already left." Gus tells us, and I grab Zoeys arm pulling her into my room. As we walk in the door Parker walks out the front door and into the hallway of the dorms.

I hear Gus say really lowly "Remember what the dean said to us while we were in the meeting? We have to keep these girls safe no matter what happens. If they are to be hurt in anyway HE is going to kill us, not just one of us but all of us." Before I close my door.
