About an hour later, I woke up to someone screaming and instantly jumped up. I ran out of my room to see what was going on. Beverly and I looked into Mom's room expecting to see a spider or something wrong. Instead, Mom was sitting at the edge of her bed, phone in hand, and a huge smile on her face.
"Mom! Don't do that! You almost scared us half to death!" Beverly yelled.
"I'm sorry, Bev. I just got some good news that I think Ainsley is going to be excited about!" Mom exclaimed. I looked at her, confused.
"What are you talking about? Did you get a big gig or something? What movie?" I asked.
"I have to go meet up with someone that would like to do an interview with me, and I think you would like to go!" Mom smiled.
"I'm guessing you're not going to tell me who this person is." I said. Mom shook her head.
"Nope! You'll just have to come with me to find out! We will meet with this person tomorrow after you get home from school." I walked back into my room, trying to figure out who this person could be. Was it a director? Was it someone from the news? Was it a celebrity? Mom wasn't going to budge and I knew that.
I sat on my bed, my mind still buzzing with anticipation. Obviously it had to be a big person for Mom to keep it from me. It wasn't like her to keep a gig hidden from us. She usually blurted everything out, but if it was a surprise for me or Bev, she swore to secrecy every time.
"Ugh, this is going to kill me!" I groaned. I flopped back on my bed and looked at the ceiling. Mom must've heard me because she walked in and started to laugh.
"It's really bothering you that much?" She asked, still laughing.
"Yes! Can you at least give me some kind of hint?" I asked.
"Hmm, I don't know. I don't want to give it away." She said.
"Aw, c'mon Mom! You know I hate surprises! One teeny little hint!" I begged.
"You're worse than your little sister," she chuckled. "Fine one hint and that's it!"
"Thank you!" I sat up quickly, waiting for her to speak.
"It's someone you wouldn't expect. You also watch this person pretty often," she smiled.
"Mom! That doesn't narrow it down! That could be Channing Tatum, Tim Burton, pretty much anyone! That isn't fair!
"Well then you'll just have to wait and see! Now get some rest! We have a big day tomorrow!" Mom smiled and kissed my forehead.
"Fine. Good night Mom." I sighed.
"Good night sweetie. I'll see you in the morning." Mom walked out and closed my door. I guess tomorrow will be a very eventful day. This should be fun. Soon enough, I was passed out, dreaming of every person it could be.
