I drove home, not looking forward to all the questions I knew I was going to get as soon as I stepped foot into that door. I snuck into the kitchen, but to no avail.
"Hi sweetie! How was your first day of school? Did you make new friends? How are your classes? Do you like your teachers?" Mom bombarded me with questions.
"Mom! Breathe! I'll tell you all about it in a little. Geez, I just walked in the door," I laughed.
"I'm sorry, I just want to make sure that you're happy. I know this isn't what you wanted, but I'm trying," Mom looked away.
"I know. Today was fine. I met a girl named Abby who I think will be my best friend because of how well we clicked. The teachers are okay and the classes seem manageable. I think I could get used to it here," I smiled, knowing hearing that would please her.
"That's so great to hear, honey! I'm so glad!" Mom got up and hugged me tightly. Her phone began to ring, and she sighed. "I'm sorry, I have to-"
"Don't worry Mom. I understand. Go take the phone call," I reassured her as she rushed into her room. I always questioned why she had so many phone calls in a day. It never really seemed like the roles she got were that big and important. Just little commercials here. Some cameos there. She was popular, don't get me wrong, but she wasn't like ANGELINA JOLIE popular.
I went to my room to start unpacking more of my things. I didn't have much left to unpack, so I knew it wouldn't take me too long. I put my clothes in the dresser, and whatever I couldn't fit, I threw in the closet. I put my little knick knacks on top of my dresser. I stopped when I found some of my pictures with my friends from my old school. I really did miss them. I put them on the nightstand next to my bed. After a while, I only had one box left. It was my memory box. It kept most of my pictures I made as a kid and some of my posters and cutouts from my favorite bands.
I went through all of the posters and pictures when I found my favorite picture. It was a picture of my two favorite Youtubers, Markiplier and Jacksepticeye. Man, would I love to meet them one day. They helped me through so much in my life, and I would love for them to know that. I sighed, knowing I would never be able to meet them unless I somehow managed to save up enough money for a convention. That would take forever with my spending habits.
I sat on my bed and looked around the room. I was content with it, so I decided to watch some Youtube on my laptop. I love Mark's Five Nights At Freddy's videos, so I decided to put on the playlist. Soon enough, I drifted off to sleep.
