I know it's been like 2 years since I wrote the Snow White one, but these stories aren't on the top of my list, any enjoy.

Once upon a time, a young girl who went by the name Zoey.....she had blood-red hair, pale skin, and she was nice to everyone and everything.......she was loved by all in her little house, she lived in with her parents. Unfortunately for the happy and loving household, Zoey's mother grew ill and eventually died.....a few years lter when Zoey was eight years old, her father remarried and he only introduced as Zoey's stepmother. The stepmother had two daughters, their name's were Anne-Maria and Dakota......the two girls were pretty but their personilities and attitudes were ugly, Zoey didn't like them but she was nice to them for her father's sake. Everything was fine for awhile even though Zoey knew her stepmother and stepsisters didn't like her, and the only reason they was nice to her was because of her father, but that changed when Zoey's father died, soon everyone except for Zoey's stepmother, Dakota, Anne-Maria and Zoey was made to leave the house. Not long after that Zoey's stepmother moved Zoey and her things to the attic, then she started to make Zoey do all the chores, that soon became Zoey's world chores and cruel stepmother and stepsisters, though things started to change again when Zoey was eighteen.
"Zoey!"
Zoey was startled awake by her stepmother shouting at her from somewhere downstairs.
"Alright, alright." Zoey yawned out, while sitting up. After a minute Zoey got out of bed and got ready for the day, before she left to see what her stepmother wanted, Zoey looked out the only window in the room and stared at the palace, Zoey sighed and left her room, Zoey first went to the kitchen to get breakfast ready for her stepmother and stepsosters. When she had the food on trays, Zoey left the kitchen and went upstairs, after she gave her stepsisters Anne-Maria and Dakota their breakfast, Zoey slowly walked to her stepmother's room. Once there Zoey lightly knocked on the door.....waiting for permission to enter.
"Come in." A stern voice said from the otherside of the door, Zoey sighed and entered the room.
"Good morning stepmother." Zoey said, while she closed the door behind her with her foot. When Zoey had sat the tray on the nightstand, she walked back to the foot of the bed and waited for her stepmother to give her, her chores for the day.
"Now, I want you to......" The stepmother started to list off everything she wanted Zoey to do today.
"Yes stepmother. Zoey said, after her stepmother finished talking, then Zoey left the room.
Meanwhile at the castle on the otherside of the village, the king and one of his son's was having an argument.
"You will marry, Mal!" The king yelled at his son.
"But I don't want to marry!" Mal yelled, back.
"If you want to be king, you have to marry!" The king yelled.
"You have five other son's.....one of them can be king!" Mal yelled.
"You know the rest of them are not fit to run a kingdom." The king lowered his voice.
"How so?!" Mal continued to yell.
"Manitoba and Vito are loose cannons, Chester and Svetlana are.......well unique, and Mike would let the other kingdom's run over him. You know this, therefore you're to be king which means you must marry.......there will be a ball tonight, every eligible maiden will be attending, the announcment will be made later today, you will choose a bride tonight Mal." The king said.
"Whatever, I'm going hunting." Mal replied, before leaving the room.
Now back with Zoey, she was just having as rough as a day, for you see Anne-Maria and Dakota decided to make fun of Zoey while she did her chores. Zoey was able to handle their bullying for a little while but it eventually got to her, when it did Zoey dropped the rag she was holding and ran outside to the barn and got on one of the horses, then raced off into the forest in tears. She didn't slow down her horse until she nearly collided with a deer....she and the deer stared at each other for a second before the deer ran off, that was when Zoey noticed that there was a hunter chasing after the deer.
"Not while I'm around." Zoey whispered, before she chased after the hunter.
"Hey, what do you think you're doing?!" The hunter yelled at her when she stopped him.
"I'm stopping you from killing my friend." Zoey replied.
"Your friend?" The boy asked, confused.
"The deer, he's my friend." Zoey said, nodding her head in the direction the deer ran off in.
"Oh, really." The boy said, in disbelief.
"Yes, really.....I think you hurt his feelings." Zoey replied.
"Now how did I do that?" The boy asked.
"He was probably minding his own business when you decided to hunt him." Zoey answered.
"Well if I manage to run into him again I'll apologize." The boy said, with a chuckle.
"I'm sure he'll appreciate it." Zoey replied.
"I sure hope so, it'll be the first I apologized to a deer." The boy said.
"What's your name?" Zoey asked, suddenly.
"What?" The boy asked, confused with the sudden question.
"We've been talking here for awhile and I still don't know your name, so I'm asking, what is you name?" Zoey repeated the question.
"Oh....um...my  name's.....Mal." The boy answered.
"That's a nice name......Mal." Zoey replied, with a smile.
"What's your name?" Mal returned the question.
"Nevermind that, do you live at the castle?" Zoey asked, instead of giving Mal her name, which confused Mal but he left it alone.
"I do live in the castle." Mal answered, instead of questioning the girl's reclutance of giving her name.
"Are you an apprentice?" Zoey asked.
"Of a sort." Mal, relcutant to tell the girl in front of him that he was one of the prince's of the kingdom.
"What do you mean by 'of a sort'?" Zoey asked, confused.
"It does't matter, what about you, are you an apprentice?" Mal asked, avoiding the question.
"Of a sort." Zoey replied, giving Mal the same answer he gave her.
"Well you kind of have an idea of why I'm in the woods, but why are you here you don't seem like the hunting type?" Mal askes, truely curious.
"I had to get away from my family for awhile." Zoey answered.
"They giving you a hard time?" Mal asked.
"Yeah." Zoey answered.
"I've got to go back home, I still got a lot of stuff I need to do." Zoey said, when Mal didn't say anything, then she left.
"Bye." Mal whispered, as he watched the girl and her horse disappear in the distance, once he wasn't able to see her anymore Mal started to chase after the deer he was hunting but then decided against it and went back to the castle. When he got there, he saw that one of his brothers.....Manitoba was standing at the front gate, persumably waiting for him.
"What do you want?" Mal asked, glaring at the other boy while he got off his horse and handed the reigns to one of the guards.
"I was about to go and search for you but I can see that it was not needed." Manitoba answered.
"Why did you feel the need to go search for me anyway?" Mal asked, as the two walked towards the front doors of the castle.
"In case you have forgot, you are a prince." Manitoba said.
"Yeah, so?" Mal asked.
"Who has duties to attend to.....the first one getting ready for the ball tonight." Manitoba finished.
"Right the ball." Mal said, with a huff, then he remembered the girl he ran into while he was out hunting and now instead of dreading the ball, he was looking forward to it, hoping he'll see her.
"You met someone." Manitoba commented, as he watched Mal's expression go from dread to excitment.
"Why do you think I met someone?" Mal asked, wearily.
"Because for one second you looked like you'd rather face a pack of hungry wolves, then the next second you looked excited about going to the ball." Manitoba explained his reasoning behind his theory that Mal met someone.
"Fine, yes I met someone" Mal admitted, knowing he wouldn't be able to lie through this one.
"That's great, who is she?" Manitoba asked, genuinely excited for his brother, even if he didn't like him that much.
"She didn't give me her name, but one thing is for certain, she isn't royal." Mal answered, even though said answer was vague on details.
"Wait, she isn't royal, father will never let you marry her." Manitoba said.
"And why not?" Mal asked, as he stopped walking.
"She isn't royal, that's why." Manitoba answered, as he stopped walking as well.
"If father want me king then I will marry whoever I want." Mal growled out, before he continued on walking, Manitoba sighed and hurried after his brother.
Back at Zoey's house, Zoey's stepmother was scolding Zoey for missing some of her chores.
"Sorry stepmother." Zoey apologized, as her stepsisters snickered in the corner, before her stepmother could say anything else the doorbell rang. Zoey sighed and went to answer the door, after a minute she closed the door behind her and walked over to her stepmother with four letters in her hand.
"What do the letters say?" Dakota asked her mother, when Zoey handed the letters over to her stepmother.
"They say there's going to be a ball tonight at the palace and every eligible maiden is invited." Zoey's stepmother said excitedly.
"We get to go to a ball." Dakota and Anne-Maria chanted.
"That means I can go too." Zoey said.
"No it doesn't." Anne-Maria said, in disgust.
"Why not, the letters do say every eligible maiden is invited." Zoey replied.
"True hmm, alright you can go if you can find something suitable to wear and if you can get all your chores done." The stepmother said, then she gave Zoey a whole list of chores she had to get done by the time they had to leave.
"Thank you stepmother." Zoey said, before she started up the stairs to start on her chores. Once she was out of sight Dakota and Anne-Maria looked at their mother in shock.
"Mother, how could you let her go?" Anne-Maria asked.
"Didn't you hear me, I said If." Their mother answered her.
"Oh I." Dakota repeated, then the two sisters started to laugh.
                                                                                                                   Close to 8pm
Zoey had just finished all of her chores and now she was running to her room to get ready for the ball. When she got to her room, she searched through a chest and found a tight pink, almost white ball gown, it was short-sleeved with the sleeved see-through, the dress had a flower pattern on it and it used to belong to her mother. She put it on and it perfectly, as did the shoes, when she reached the main foyer of her home, Zoey saw that her stepmother and stepsisters were about to leave.
"Wait, please wait!" Zoey called out, and hurried down the stairs.
"I'm ready." Zoey said, once she was standing in front of the other three.
"Girls, what do you think?" Zoey's stepmother asked her daughters, instead of answering, Dakota and Anne-Maria walked over to Zoey and started to rip her dress to shreds.
"She's not ready." Anne-Maria said.
"Very well, let's go girls." The stepmother replied, laughing Dakota and Anne-Maria left the house.
"Goodnight." Zoey's stepmother said to her, before she exited the house closing the door beind her. Zoey let out a choked sob and ran to the garden and sat on a bench and cried, she was crying so hard that she didn't notice somebody was sitting next to her, until that person spoke.
"Hush now, dry those tears." The person said.
"Who are you?" Zoey asked, startled, looking at the blonde-haired girl in a green long-sleeved dress.
"I'm your fairy-godmother but you can call me Dawn." The girl answered.
"I have a fairy-godmother." Zoey said, but it sounded more like a question.
"Of course, and I'm here to help you get to a ball." Dawn said, standing up as well as helping Zoey get up on her feet.
"But-"
"Hush, now lets see, we need a carriage." Dawn interuppted Zoey, and got out her and and waved it at a pumpkin, Zoey watched in amazement as the pumpkin turned into a beautiful white carriage.
"Now some horses." Dawn said, then she spotted some field mice, Dawn waved her wand at the mice and soon the mice turned into six beautiful horses.
"Now the driver and footman." Dawn said, she pointed her wand at a goose and dog, one turned into a carriage driver, the other a footman.
"Now lets see about that dress of yours." Dawn said, then she waved her wand at Zoey, Zoey watched as her torn dress turned into a new dress. Zoey walked over to the fountain to look at her reflection, she saw that her hair was in a braided bun and her dress was a ruby-red, low v-neck and short-sleeved and it was beautiful, she looked at her shoes, they were the same color as her dress and they were made out of glass even though they were comfortable.
"Oh, thank you so much." Zoey thanked Dawn, pulling her into a hug.
"You're welcome, now you must remember that the spell will end at midnight and everything will turn back to the way it was." Dawn warned her.
"I'll remember." Zoey said.
"You better go, you don't want to be late." Dawn said, Zoey got inside the carriage, once the carriage started to move Zoey knew she was on her way to the palace.
At the palace in the ball room Mal was standing next to his father as well as his brother's, and in Svetlana's case sister, being introduced to every girl in the kingdom.
"You know you have to choose one of these girls Mal." The king said to his son, but Mal just ignored him in favor of watching the crowd and if Manitoba wasn't scared of his brother he would have laughed because he knew Mal was looking for someone.
"Have you found her?" Manitoba whispered, into his brothers ear.
"Yes." Mal answered, and Manitoba watched as his brother walked to the center of the room where a girl with blood-red hair and pale skin in a ruby-red dress stood, and Manitoba could admit to himself that he was a little jealous, she was easily the most beautiful girl here.
"Start up the music." Manitoba whispered to his father.
"You sure?" The king asked, Manitoba nodded his head, so the king signalled for the music to start playin and the two watched Mal and the mystery girl dance.
"You know, I thought you weren't royal." Mal whispered, as he and the girl he met earlier that day dance.
"And I thought you weren't a prince." Zoey whispered back.
"Looks like we've bothe still have secrets." Mal this time whispered into her ear, Zoey only hummed as a response, they continued to dance in silence. When the song ended Mal led Zoey out of the room.
"Where are you taking me?" Zoey asked, confused as to why they were leaving the ballroom.
"I'm taking you to a place only I know about." Mal answered, instead of saying anything Zoey continued to let Mal drag her wherever he wanted to take her. They eventually made their way into a hedgemaze, then a few minutes later Mal led them to a dead end, but it wasn't a dead end, Zoey could see on the ground there was a tiny tunnel.
"Don't worry it's safe." Mal said, when he saw the reluctance in the girls eyes, Zoey nodded her head and went through the tunnel and on the otherside, what she saw took her breath away, she and Mal was in a little clearing with a stone bench.
"It's beautiful." Zoey said, as Mal led her over to the stone bench.
"Thank you." Mal thanked her.
"Did you bring the bench?" Zoey asked, as the two sat down.
"No, it was already here when I found this place." Mal answered.
"I though nobody else knew of this place?" Zoey asked.
"Well, I've never been followed nor has anybody disturbed me here." Mal answered.
"So you don't actually know if anybody else knows of this place." Zoey said, with a chuckle.
"No, but I'm not going to ask around either." Mal replied, Zoey nodded her head and smiled.
"What's your-" Mal was interuppted by the clock tower chiming midnight.
"It's midnight, I've got to leave." Zoey said, in a panic, then ran from the little clearing.
"What, wait!" Mal called after her, but she didn't stop running, unfortunately by the time he was even remotely close to catching up to her, she had left the castle grounds, leaving behind only one glass slipper.
"Father's going to kill me." Mal said to himself, while looking down at the glass slipper.
"Why would I kill you?"
"Nothing!" Mal yelled, quickly turning around to see his father standing behind him.
"Why are you holding a glass slipper?" The king asked.
"It was the girl, I was dancing with shoe." Mal answered.
"And where is the girl?" The king asked.
"She ran away." Mal answered.
"She ran away." The king repeated, Mal slowly nodded his head.
"You will search for her, make every girl in the kingdom try it on if you have to, your search begins now, Mal." The king ordered, Mal quickly began his search, even without his father's order he was going to do that anyway.
While Mal started his search, Zoey was being locked in her room, because her stepmother had somehow found out that it was Zoey was dancing with the prince the night before. So now many hours later, Mal still hadn't found the girl he danced with and Zoey still hadn't managed to escape her room.
"This is the last house in the kingdom, she's got to be here." Mal whispered to himself as he got out of the carriage, holding the glass slipper in one hand Mal knocked on the door, a moment later the door opened.
"Your highness, what are you doing here?" The woman standing in front of him asked in shock.
"I'm searching for the girl, I was dancing with last night, she lost heer shoe." Mal said, holding up the shoe.
"And mat I be as bold as to ask what you intend to do with this girl once you find her?" The woman asked.
"I intend to marry her." Mal answered.
"Well come on in, meet my daughters Dakota and Anne-Maria." The woman introduced her daughters as she let Mal into the house.
"Are they the only two?" Mal asked, not bothering to hide the disappointment in his voice.
"Yes they are the only two." The woman replied.
"Alright, try this shoe on." Mal said, then handed the shoe to Dakota, when the shoe refused to fit no matter what, Dakota handed the slipper to Anne-Maria but with the same results. So Mal grabbed hold of the slipper and headed for the doo but stopped when he heard whistling.
"I thought you said nobody else lived here." Mal said, as he glared at the three.
"It's just the housemaid, nobody important." Anne-Maria replied.
"I said every girl, do not take me for a fool, this might be your house but it's in my kingdom, you will bring her down now." Mal ordered, tired of playing the nice card, sensing that the prince wouldn't take no for an answer, Zoey's stepmother went and got Zoey from the attic. When Mal saw Zoey, he knew that she was the one he danced with yesterday, and when he placed the shoe on her foot and it was a perfect fit, it confirmed it.
"What's your name?" Mal asked, as the two walked to the carriage.
"My name's Zoey." Zoey answered.
"Zoey....that's a pretty name." Mal said, Zoey chuckled and gave Mal a quick kiss to the lips.
"Thank you." Zoey whispered.
"You're welcome." Mal whispered back.
A few weeks later to the delight of the king and amusement for Manitoba, Mal and Zoey got married and they lived happily ever after.
