The Protection of the Angels

Chapter 1 -Field Trip!

Ali, Ember, and Mae were talking to each other and everybody else was talking too. The students were talking so loudly that they did not even hear the teacher walking in. The teacher was looking around and looking pleased by all laughing and smiles in the classroom, then the teacher said, "Students, please sit down!"

The teacher walks in front of class while every student at once sat down and went fully quiet. After that, the teacher says, "When I entered my classroom, everyone looked very happy so, please, tell me, did anybody hear the rumor yet?"

Every student looked at each other than shrugged their shoulders. The teacher said "There is one rumor that is true, and it's our school camp grounds. This high school owns a ground campus and our class along with 4 other classrooms will go there with us. And if you are wondering when we are going to campus grounds, it will be in two weeks from now. Throughout those two weeks, I want everybody in a group of 3 people but choose wisely! And make sure that you are living with people that you can trust, or you can live with the same gender."

I look at my two best friends and they did the same thing then we looked back at the teacher so he can continue the class.

When one week pass by, we were still wondering if all three, us, was a good team. So, we decided to text each other important stuff that we should know, and we are still doing it every day even though it is embarrassing, we still had to get it done.

At school, everybody is having a problem finding a good team to live with on the field trip. Even if we are not popular, you can tell that someone is having a problem. In this case, everyday someone would walk to someone and ask if they were in a team and most of the answers would be a 'no' and it is almost rare to hear a 'yes.' Even though it is been week, everything and everyone is a complete mess.

During class, most of every student could not focus in class because they are mostly on finding a team or finding a spot-on campus to have a party without the teachers knowing. They are probably most thinking about finding a good team and I'm sure one of the 'nerds' that works for the most popular students are forced to find a spot for the popular students. Even though me and my friends are not popular, and we are not nerds either so you can say that we are in the middle, and I'm not sure how that works. You can also say that we get 'invited' to parties, but we never go, mostly because we don't want to get into ANY drama with anybody. They invited us because they think we dress cool and we do not talk to other people which makes us sort of different.

Meanwhile with Ali, Ember, and I, it is lunch time and we were talking about what the campus, mostly about our house. We were wondering what it looks like and we already guess it's going to be old but modern. We just wish that the beds are update, you know, no bugs in the bed and other stuff. I have a feeling that this campus talk in school is going to be here for a while. I told Ali and Ember that we should live in the same house at the campgrounds, then I talked to our 3rd hour teacher and he wrote it down.

Finally, the day that we go the campus grounds and have a wonderful time. But the bus arrangement is at random so that means I cannot sit next to my friends. If I cannot sit by them, I will listen to my playlist, so I do not talk a nobody else on the bus. Besides, the bus I am sitting on is the one where everyone is the nerds and they know me which is good and bad. It is bad because some of these nerds like things that I like too but the nerds would be terrified to talk to me because of our stupid title!

Like I said before, the teens will look or take glances at me or my friends because of our title. I never really liked our title and if you are wondering 'What kind of title that Mae can make her dislike so much?' Well our title is 'The 3 Beautiful Quiet Girls' and you would think 'That's a pretty title, why would you dislike it?'. It is different when the most popular people told you specifically to live up to your title.

Of course, I didn't argue with them and I stayed quiet just like our title. My friends and I have natural beauty, but we are focused to wear it even we don't need to. We wear make-up but those are only the days that is a school event or if we feel insecure.
