After the small lecture Tanjiro gives me, I stare out the window.

There she is.

Sitting on the bench while she looks up at the sky, allowing the wind to travel through her hair as she closes her eyes and smiles.

Nezuko...

I blush a bit as my heart skips a beat and the bell rings, dismissing us from lunch. I didn't want to move. I wanted to watch her, not in a weird way... I just want to admire her. She's so pretty, how could one now just stare into her beautiful eyes and get lost.

I sighed as I stood up, "But oh well..." I mumbled as I went to my next class.

The last bell of the day rung all throughout the school as people started walking out of their classrooms and out the school.

Tanjiro walked up to me and patted my back, "Hey! I can't walk home with you today, I have to stay afterschool to help out a teacher." He said. Of course, that's Tanjiro for ya.

"Yeah, that's fine. Bye I guess." I mumbled, kinda upset I'm gonna have to go home alone but that's life.

Tanjiro ran off and I walked out of the school. I scanned the area and those bright eyes caught my attention as they where right in front of me.

"Have you seen Tanjiro?" Nezuko asked as she looked behind me, wondering if her brother would be behind me.

I couldn't even muster the words to tell her as I got too flustered. My face was burning so I probably looked like a tomato, if not, a strawberry. "H-he stayed a-afterschool.." I stuttered, damn.

"Oh... Alright then, I guess I'll walk by myself then." She smiled and began to walk off before I reached out and grabbed her shoulder.

Ah damnit what do I do now, you can't just grab her like this! Stupid Zenitsu, look what you got yourself into!!

In the panic, I quickly spoke, "I-if you want! I can walk you home."

She just looked at me.

I got red and let her go, waving my hands around, "Y-you know! So that you don't walk home alone! P-plus! What if something happens!" I sighed in defeat, no way she's gonna let me walk her.

I looked down in embarrassment as I played with my hair until a small giggle caught my attention. I look up and see Nezuko smiling up at me.

"Sure, plus, I trust you! You're my brother's friend, which means, you're my friend!" She said as she started walking, me stumbling a bit to catch up to her.

This is it! This is my chance to impress her!
