At the beach, facing the ocean, I sat on a log while eating some canned goods. From this distance, I could see people who found the spaceship that I came with and of course, the news went wild over it, luckily I managed to get all the data of the spaceship out, thanks to being the spaceship engineer. Well most importantly, my things, I got all the goods out of the spaceship. At least it would last me some days without me having to worry about things. I even got a tent out from the spaceship, they prepared it in case we landed in forest areas, thank goodness.

Well, I have a lot of things to worry about like—

      "COOL!"

        This guy.

Apparently Luke is the surfer trainer at this beach, and after a long day of surfing, he would just come here at my small camping spot to nag me. His parallel self isn't interested in me and I know why of course. Luke in my world once got his heart so broken by a girl introduced by me that he lost interest in any other girl.

"Are you staying on the beach?"

"Yeah, got a problem with that?" I told him opening another can of corns, I started scooping the corns out and eating it and he just smiled at me.

       Poke. He poked my cheek.

"Hey!" I got annoyed and glared at him.

"You can't just eat those, we could have a barbeque party, I can invite all my bros together."

"No thanks," I told him taking a big scoop out from the can I was eating.

He sighed as he sat next to me, "you know, you play hard to get."

Of course, that's what he thinks.

I started walking towards the fishing rod I managed to make from what was left in the spaceship and some pieces of thrown away wooden plank I found. I already accepted my fate that I can never return to my home planet and that I must live in this new parallel earth until death. I mean this world NASA would have serious questions about my existence, and for sure I wouldn't want that.

"You look like someone from the Survivor Show."

I don't know how much of a cruel fate this is but yeah, I am a damn survivor, got a problem with it? Can you survive 891 days on space? I know you can't.

Okay, I feel morbid now, traveling in space for a long time is starting to make me go crazy.

"Are you going to go fishing?"

I didn't bother to answer and threw the make-shift fishing rod into the sea. He looked amazed by it and I waited, patiently, just for the sake of a fish biting because I know I can't live on corn forever.

        "Hey, Luke."

        "Yeah?"

         "Do you believe in aliens?"

"I mean a spaceship just crashed into the ocean, it's already all over the news, I am starting to think that alien exists."

It's not the same Luke I know of. How much can my existence change the course of history? Questions popped out in my head, this is a different planet, okay, Luke looked exactly like my Luke. Almost like a doppelganger.

        Wait, what if...

"Luke, I'll go to you little barbeque party..."

     "Really?" He looked excited.

"But..." I smiled, "only if you invite Edward to come."

His face dropped almost immediately, looking panicked, "I told you that he's—"

"I mean more people more fun right," I grinned, "come on, he can't ruin one party."

He turned his face to the side, folding his arms while standing up, he frowned when I told him that but I ain't giving up and continued, "you don't even have to invite him, I'll invite him myself."

He turned to me, "are you seriously thinking of inviting a restaurant manager to a beach party?"

        "Trust me, I can."

He thought about it for a moment and sighed, "I got some pals who probably wouldn't mind Edward coming, but you," he pointed at me as I pointed back at myself, "you have to dress up nicely, if not it all goes to waste."

Man, without me, Luke is just a shallow degenerate.

"Okay, what time, and where?" I raised an eyebrow.

"You see that little beach hut over there," he pointed, and I nodded, "go there, around 10, make sure you dress up well okay, okay?!"

"Yeah, yeah, I'll dress up for you."

He started dashing out from there, I let out a sigh before noticing my hook caught something. I pulled the reel and got quite a good size for a fish. If I dry this up, I could make salted fish that I could eat for later.

After catching a few fishes, I put them on a rock as I head out to the restaurant where Edward works at. It was near closing time when I arrived, he was saying goodbyes to what appeared to be some celebrity customers. Before he entered the restaurant I grabbed him by the sleeves.

      "Yes?"

"Please come, I need you to come with me somewhere."

"Who are you?" He looked at me confusingly.

Well, I was getting overfamiliar with this Edward who does not know me that well. To him, I am just a random stranger that is trying to invite him and he surely doesn't trust me enough for me to do that. But I really want him to go to the party, what should I do?

Wait, he may not know me that well, but I know him pretty well.

I gave a smirk at him and told him in a whimsical tone.

"If you don't come I'll tell everyone you have an extra nipple."

        "HOW DID YOU KNOW THAT?!"

       BINGO!

"Just come, or I'll tell everyone."

"Not like they are going to believe it."

"I know who would believe that story," I looked to the side with a smile.

       "Don't you dare!"

I let go of his sleeve and started tapping on my chin, looking like I was thinking deeply about it for a moment, "who should I tell, should I tell... oh, I know, I should tell Luke."

Well, that was enough to break his strong will. He ran into the restaurant and talked to his employees that he was going to go off early, and I stood there smiling to myself, waiting for him to get changed before we leave, he then turned to me with an annoyed expression on his face and we both left to the beach together.

"I never even seen you since few days ago, and you already acting like you know me, who the hell are you?"

"Well, it doesn't matter, you'll know me soon," I winked.
