I walked towards the beach hut and saw it was already decorated with fairy lights. I can't believe they did it that quickly but then again maybe that had enough time to set up the party anyway. It's hard to understand how long it takes to do something when my sense of time was already messed up from all the throwing around in the endless space.

Man, I may as well as be overcomplicating this.

On the bright side, I managed to make Edward follow behind my back, which to me is a great achievement considering how thick-headed this man is with strangers. Though, he did look around wondering where we were going.

"What's this all about, weird woman?"

I turned to Edward who was looking angry about everything. I let a smile form on my lips and told him while turning around with my hands behind my back walking backward.

"You know, just friends gathering," I told him.

"Why me?" He asked raising an eyebrow.

"You are a nice person, I just know it."

Or am I just putting the image of my earth's Edward in him? It doesn't matter, whatever happens, I am ready to accept it, it's not like I have any goals left to do. I grabbed his arm as I pushed open the beach hut door and heard the loud sound of honk with confetti thrown to me and Edward. I blinked my eyes a few times with my heartbeat was still fast from the shock.

         "SURPRISE!"

Luke had surprised the two of us with his friends behind him cheering. My eyes circled and saw that there was a cake on the table and some dishes on the table. Seeing that, Edward looked surprised, he had his hand on his chest still recovering from the shock. As cunning as he could be, Luke got closer to Edward smiling, "Cat got your tongue, Edward? I thought you liked dogs."

       "You... You remembered my birthday?"

Luke grinned, "lucky that she decided to invite you, I thought of just going back to the old-time, plus she's new here."

Edward turned to me and I shook my head because I had no idea what was happening. Luke just sat on the window of the beach hut while taking a shot, "I thought about it, why we fought in the first place."

"Because you called me a bitch?" Edward raised an eyebrow, and Luke took another shot.

"Well, it went deeper than that, it was because you wanted to start a restaurant and leave the gangs out."

"I mean I need a proper way to make money, what do you expect?" Edward wrinkled his face and glared at Luke. Seeing these two people fight is not something I would like to enjoy this evening.

"Because of you, Kayla followed her path, I thought we promised to go to space together and now look at us," Luke pointed at Edward's chest which made Edward puffed his cheeks in anger. Edward was curling his hand into a fist and was probably ready to beat up Luke at that moment.

Alright, I had it, I had enough of this endless fight.

I got closer to Luke and grabbed him while glaring at him, his eyes only showed the sign of fears and Edward was attempting to stop me but he didn't. I would have pulled a punch on him if it wasn't for his friends that were watching us with shocked expressions on their face.

"Dawn, what—" Luke tried finishing his sentence, I won't let him.

"That doesn't matter, what matters is that you guys are here, who cares if your path is different from each other, that shouldn't make you two fight! That's some petty ass shit going on if only those things—"
