This is the cry of a forgotten girl

her tears streaming

down her delicate face

but no one notices her sorrows

she kept it bottled up for so long

no her emotions are finally pouring out

she is finding the true her

not the lie she was before she knew

Her brown curls and tan skin

are attractive to any male or female

but she doesn't believe that

she looks at herself like others

she sees herself as ugly

the forgotten girl

never thought that someone loved her

until she looked him in the eyes

she seen something she never seen

in someones eyes she found

something she could describe it

as true love watching her every movement

her every flaw he loved

the way her eyes change

when she is in any mood

he loved her dearly

then she made the mistake

she left him behind

in a different city

mistaking the look in his eyes as friendship

he missed her so much

texted her over the internet

video chatted with her

even got her number to text her

she loved him but didn’t know he loved her

until one day he asked her if she did

she told the truth as did he

now they are together

no one to stop them

they have each others hearts

never to break each other

always there to help each other

but her mother is forcing her on a date

with her coworkers son

can’t say no because mother doesn't know

of the guy her daughter loves

for her mother doesn’t agree with seeing him

because he is three years older

but love is love to her

she misses him more than he thinks

thinks of him every moment

every second

wrote a poem about him

because she is someone you wouldn’t expect

she is me

I left him behind

I didn’t want to to

I was forced to leave my true love behind

six years of knowing him

I know everything about him

he knows about everything about me

but were separated now

I miss him

I really do…

signing off with a regretful sigh

have a good life to one and all my lovely readers...
