My name is Lee and this is the first time I've ever taken the time to physically write down the story of a girl named Grace. Its my way if etching her name in the history books as the greatest girl to ever be a part of my life.

It was my first day of Kidnegarden down at Burt Chimney Elementary School when I met her. I was nervous as anyone would be and at that age was even more nervous of meeting girls for I did not want to catch "kudies".

I found my seat with my nametag and much to my worst fear I was sat next to a girl. Her name was Grace and I was very displeased with the way my day had begun.

Upon her arrival I was met with feelings I had not the slightest clue on how to explain. She was gorgeous to say the least. Beautiful emerald eyes accompanied by a sincere smile and shoulder length blonde hair that was possibly softer than the feathers of an angels wing.

"Hi, my names Grace. Im new to this area so I dont have any friends. Can we be pals?"

She hugged me before I was ever able to respond and in that instance my life began to change forever. I had no fear of catching her "girl germs" and I was even able to admit I was happy to be embraced by her.

"Uh yeah sure. My name is Lee."

My response was short and a little snipy but I was very nervous at this point. Her hug, which felt like forever, probably only lasted a few suddle moments. We took our seat and enjoyed class together.

Over the course of the next few weeks Grace and I found ourselves spending a lot of time with one another. Weather we where sneaking around during recess holding hands, or exchanging our desserts we felt a great bond forming within my heart.

Time perservered as it always done and Grace became the yin to my yang. We were a perfect match, the best of friends and I was always smiling when she was with me. Soon yet another common intrest arose, one that became a part of me forever.
