Camila POV
"Why are we outside Cameron's place?", He glares at the house through the car windows

"Shh, just trust me", I lightly squeeze his arm

"There's a reason why we're here", i look at shawn

"I bet", he arches an eyebrow

"Stay here", I warn him as I open the door

"There's no way I'm letting you go see him alone", he jumps out aswell

Sigh.

"Fine, hide behind the bush",  I shoo him

"Why?", his eyes widen

"Because if he sees your face he'll never open the door, silly", I laugh

shawn tries fitting his giant body behind the tiny bush

"Butt in", I spank his butt

"Mila", he whines

"What is going on here?", Cameron opens the door causing shawn to firmly wrap his arm around my waist

"We need to talk", I take a step forward

"Am I going to get beaten again?", he asks

"Do you want to? Because I surely can", Shawn takes a step further

"No, this is not what it's about... we need your help", i plaster a smile

"What?", both Shawn and Cameron question

"Come in, it's chilly outside", he opens the door wider for us to enter

"Do you guys want anything to drink? water, juice, alcohol...", Cameron attempts to ease the tension

"Are you sure we can trust this guy", Shawn points at him with pure disgust

"What's your problem? Alcohol will help warm you up", he raises his hand in defence

"You bastar-", Shawn storms towards Cameron

"Shawn", I glare at him causing Shawn to pout and sit back on his seat

"So, Cameron, remember how you said if there was anything you could do to make up for the mess you created... you would?", i start, earning a nod in response

"Well... now's the time. Do you know who Miss Daniels is?", i further interrogate

"How would he? He rarely shows up to school", Shawn rolls his eyes

"Exactly, which means Miss Daniels probably has no idea who he is either", I smile at Shawn

"Uhhh... I'm not sure if I'm catching up", Cameron scratches the back of his neck

"Let's just say Miss Daniels happens to be a psychopath", I start

"And you expect me to get involved?", Cameron's eyes widen

"Yeah, it's a one time thing she won't get attached to you, don't worry", I respond

"Anyway, what I need you to do is lure Miss Daniels into your trap so we could expose her. When and where is the question... Lauren and I will keep a close check on Miss Daniels routine this week so we could find the right time to expose her. You in?", i offer my hand

"Yes, a 100%", he accepts my handshake

"Haha, me too... hands off her", Shawn grabs my hand and pulls me closer to him

"Easy man", Cameron chuckles

"Thanks Cam, I'll text you all the information soon", I wave him goodbye

Shawn starts the engine of his car and we soon head back home

"Mila, thank you for everything. I'm sorry for putting you through this mess... you don't deserve any of this and you have little to no idea how much you mean to me", Shawn rambles

"We need to breakup, Shawn", Shawn chokes on his saliva

"What?", the car abruptly stops

"Pretend to, shawny", I place my hand over his

"And stop thanking me, I care about you so much", he presses him lips onto mine, this kiss was slow and meaningful unlike any of our other ones. Our foreheads pressed against each other's as we looked into each other's eyes.

"What do I tell her?", he starts the engine once again

"That I broke up with you because I found out about your past... and that she should be happy because you won't work yourself into another relationship", I state

"But won't that make her think she has a chance?", he questions

"Yeah, you ask her out on a date then stood her up so Cameron can come into the picture and persuade her? then boom, just like that it's over", I smile

"My baby is a genius", he kisses my forehead

"Let's get to work", I remove my phone out of my pocket and start texting Lauren
