In the previous Chapter, Chat detransforms, and leaves his ring with Marinette. He also leaves Paris without a word about it too anyone else.
In the current Chapter, which takes place the next day...
Plagg is still upset about what Adrien has done. He can not believe Adrien took off the ring and left him behind.
"Tikki, Marinette, what do we do?" Plagg asks.
"What do you mean?" Marinette asks.
"He is the one who chose to leave," Marinette scoffs.
"Plagg is right!" Tikki says.
"What? Tikki, how can you agree with him?" Marinette asks.
"Marinette is your fault he left!" Tikki remarks.
"How is it my fault?" Marinette asks.
Meanwhile, with Adrien who is all alone...
Adrien sighs, thinks I love her, why does she hate me? He cries and thinks, I hope she can be happy now.
Back to Marinette...
"Tikki, and Plagg, I am sorry. You are right," Marinette says.
"I have to fix this!" Marinette says. She runs to Adrien's house. Tikki hides in her purse and Plagg inside her jacket.
Marinette knocks on the door, and says, "Adrien, I am sorry..."
Natalie answers, "Sorry, Adrien is not here!" She says.
"What do you mean?" Marinette asks.
"I mean he is not in this house, or anywhere in Paris. He was gone when I got up this morning and went to check on him," Natalie explains.
"What? How could this happen?" Marinette asks.
"I have no idea. Perhaps, he left because of a broken heart." Natalie says as she slams the door.
Marinette runs back to her house. She goes to her room and asks, "Oh, how will we find him?"
"I lost my friend," Plagg says, then sobs.
"Marinette you have to find a way to fix this!" Tikki says.
"I know, but how? I do not even know where he is now." Marinette says.
"Marinette, look online for any flights out of Paris taken yesterday!" Plagg suggest.
"Wow, Plagg you are a genius!" Marinette says. She kisses his forehead.
Tikki laughs when Plagg blushes. She thinks it figures Plagg would have a small crush on the girl who holds his holder, no correction ex-holder's heart.
Marinette checks the internet to see what she can find when she finishes she smirks. She picks up the ring off the desk and slips it on her finger. "Plagg claws out!" Marinette says. She transforms into Ladynoire. She then packs a bag, leaves a quick note, and heads out the door. Tikki remains hidden the whole way to the airport.
