Chapter 16: Next Move

>Fitz's POV<

"This is fucking nuts, cunt" Mason said from beside me, Swagger took us to an office and told us to wait until he did whatever the hell. To be fair, I was nervous. What was he going to tell us? He sounded so serious as well.

Why did that guy want to kill me? He also knew who I was as well, I'm so confused about this whole thing.

"What do you think they'll tell us?" I asked Mason.

"Hopefully why people are trying to kill us and who Swagger and Ryan are" He responded back, twiddling with his thumbs. Was he nervous as well?

"Cameron? Are you scared as well? I'm pretty scared about this whole thing" He looked down, I put a hand on his shoulder making him look at me.

"I'm sure Swagger and Ryan will keep us safe, plus I won't let anyone hurt you" I gave him a reassuring smile, he smiled back at me then hugged me. I hugged him back.

"Thanks, you're the best dude" He told me.

"Aw no problem buddy" The door opened behind us, we stopped hugging to see who it was.

"Sorry to keep you waiting anyways I'll get straight to the point" Swagger went in front of us, he looked very.. tired.

"Ryan and I and the rest of the misfits are secret agents, we've killed people who try to damage us or any of you. The people who tried to kill you two work for this other group called the Goop but they keep changing their name so people can get confused on who they really are"

"The group consists of 7 people, I'll show you who they are" A bunch of pictures were on the desk, Swagger pointed to who was who and gave us some details about the people in the group.

"For now they're trying to capture Y/N and even kill off you guys. They won't stop until the misfits go down and get her. So we're putting you two to live here for awhile" I nodded at everything Swagger said.

"Swags, what about the rest of the guys? Jay, Matt, and Toby? Or even Y/N?" Mason asked Swagger.

"Y/N is here as well, don't worry. And the rest of the guys are in the misfits house which is heavily guarded as we speak" Swagger explained to us.

This feels unreal, I mean, this seems something out of a movie! The Goop group sounds really dangerous as well but when you see how they look.. they look like they wouldn't hurt a fly but that's what I thought about Ryan and Swagger as well so I shouldn't be talking.

"Wait Y/N's here? Can we go see her?" Mason suddenly stood up, oh yeah, she's here as well... I wonder what she would say when she sees me again.

"I'm afraid you can not" Swagger responded back, looking quite worried.

"What? Why not?" I asked, I've already seen her so why couldn't I see her right now?

"She's resting, she had an asthma attack earlier and I don't want anybody to disturb her sleep. You can go see her when she wakes up" Mason just looked down, not fighting back with Swagger.

"Also I know that both of you have already seen and talked to Y/N, am I correct?" Mason and I nodded.

"I can't really be mad at you two. i'd do the same..." He mumbled the last part which I couldn't hear.
