Domination

Chapter 4

Serenity waited through English 4, counting down the minutes as the teacher droned on and on about nouns and points of views. She took perfect notes, no-one would be able to find mistakes, but her mind was elsewhere.

She wanted to see Grant again very badly. She couldn't get her mind off the kiss they shared. The temptation of his sweet full lips, imagining how they would feel kissing lovingly on her neck, then a little lower, and then-

Ding, din, ding.

The bell pulled her out of her lustful thoughts, at first she was mad, then quickly reminded herself that her next class was with Grant. 'Why am I, the vampire princess, getting so excited to see a pathetic human?' She asked herself. 'Because he intrigues me,' she answered. 'Just be careful it's nothing more. You know what happened last time you let a man into your heart.'

With a wince she nodded and tried to find room 223 for geology. He was waiting there by the door, when she finally found it. 'Aw what a gentleman.' She thought.

As she stepped closer to him due to the halls being crowded she said "Hey."

"Hey to you too." He said with a smirk. "Ready to go deal with the learning of life?" He asked her.

"Sure." she said. 'If only he knew.'

She sat down in a random seat, but Grant shook his head and pulled her lightly to the back of the class. "From now on, anytime we are in the same class we'll sit in the back together." At that last word he gave her a cocky smile.

"Well, okay." she said playing along with a beaming smile that she knew would leave him breathless. Lets just say she wasn't disappointed. His smile faded and his face turned to one of awe. 'Keep it on the low, you don't want him falling for you.' her fiercer side thought vigorously to her. 'Or do I...' she thought back.

Serenity walked over to the desk beside him and sat. She liked him, there was no denying it now. Everything about him made her want him, and not just in the predator and prey way. He made her want everything about him to be hers, his smell, his body, his laugh, his eyes... She could get lost in his eyes. They were so full of humanity and yet somewhat animalistic. It made her feel something...Was this jealousy? What did she have to be jealous of?

She thought about this for a minute before she decided he was natural. Vampires weren't actually from Earth. They came here millenia ago, in search of food and a new place to live. 'Humans quenched our appetite, gave us places to stay around the world, and worshipped us as Gods. We were never supposed to be here, we shouldn't be here.'

"Hey, are you okay?" Grant asked taking her out of her depressing thoughts. She looked over and he looked worried.

"Ya, just thinking." She put on a fake smile and laughed, yet again it was fake. It still got every ones attention though. Boys, girls, the teacher, everyone. 'Oops, did it again.' she thought.
