Hey quick A/N before I start typing this out. I know my updating pattern has been.. off. However, I now know how I want to do it. In a way you guys decide. Starting on this chapter ill wait till i have ten views. If i have the part completed when that happens itll be uploaded quickly but if im still working on it itll take time. Sorry about this and please bear with me. If I have writers block I'll write when I have ideas as I have gone off from what I had originally written. Yeah stupid I know. Also chapters will be 1000ish words from now on.//

Bill stared at Kill blankly. He couldn't believe how stupid the demon was at times. Not only did the demon scare Markus out of his mind, he knocked the kid out without explaining anything.
"What? He was in a cave alone," Kill complained in an attempt to justify his actions.
"I've told you this before. You can't meet people like that. It scares them"
"That's not fair! I was only trying to help..." Kill complains to Bill.
"Yes I am well aware of that. Therefore, I am going to let you off easy. That being said you're still in trouble. You know the life he's lived through..." Bill looks at his nephew. "He probably thought you were Tad.."
"I don't look like Tad!" Kill complained obviously offended.
"You were in a dark cave Kill. I doubt he had a good view of what you looked like. I'm gonna go to sleep and check out his dream. Keep watch."
"Yes, my lord," Kill said sarcastically obviously not taking Bill seriously. Despite not taking the demon seriously he sat down and watched over the two.
Darkness. What was going on? Bill looked around in confusion. He found his nephew rather easily. The boy was curled up in fear as his father glared down at him. Bill concealed himself and watched.
"How insufferable can you possibly be you little piece of trash!"
"I... I didn't mean to I swear!"
"HOW DO YOU BREAK A PLATE WITHOUT MEANING TO!" Tad demanded.
"It.... It slipped out of my hand...." Mark whispered his eyes filling with tears.
"Oh yeah?" Tad asked as malice filled his eyes. He picked up a piece of the broken plate and threw it at Mark's foot.
Mark shut his eyes in pain but made no sound of pain. This annoyed Thaddeus. He picked up another piece of the plate and threw it at Mark.
Bill made a disgusted look when he noticed that his brother was smiling in ecstasy.
All of a sudden, the scene shifted. Bill was shocked when he saw what was happening. He had realized Mark's dreams were just nightmares of things that had happened in his life. That being said this one made no sense. It didn't match up with what he knew. In front of him stood a woman. She had blonde hair.
He watched in horror as Angelica placed the tip of a knife at Mark's neck and dug the knife in a bit and smiled as she saw the red of the child's blood.
"Yes. Good. Bleed for me Marky."
Mark just silently stood there with blood dripping down his neck. Angelica smiled and pressed the knife harder into his skin. Her eyes gleamed maliciously as she moved the knife across his neck in a not so gentle manner causing the poor boy to bleed out. The blood slipped down his neck and started to make a small puddle on the wooden floor. Bill found himself wondering if this really was a memory or if it was a nightmare. To ease his mind Bill slipped into Mark's memories. He opened a random door in the hall of Mark's memories. He tilted his head as the scene played out.
"Mark come here!" Angelica called out in a loving way.
Mark smiled Happily. Tad had gone out to go shopping so it was just the two of them. He went to his mother without hesitation. Bill watched what seemed to be a normal scene between a mother and a son.
However, the scene took a turn for the worse. Angelica held her arms out inviting Mark to hug her which he did without hesitation. She hugged him back and slipped a knife out of her sleeve and made a large cut across Mark's back. Bill couldn't help but gasp in horror.
He decided to check another memory. Maybe it was a one time thing. Yeah. That had to be it. It didn't match up with what he knew about Angelica. So he walked down the hallway a bit and opened another door. He watched as the scene played out.
Mark was sleeping on his bed and according to the clock it was around midnight. The door to his closet opened allowing a sliver of moonlight to creep into the room disrupting the darkness he had been sleeping in. Tad stood there looking at Mark with an icy gaze. He walked in and shut the door behind him before pulling out a taser.
Bill slammed the door shut on that memory wishing to see no more. He decided to check out one more memory. So he looked around a bit before deciding on a memory with a dark cracked wood. He opened it and watched the memory unfold.
Tad was looking at Angelica smiling as mark sat on the floor playing with shards of glass cutting his hands up but not really noticing.
Bill groaned. How could they be such awful parents.
Mark quietly crawled over and tried to climb onto his mothers lap for attention. He couldn't have been any older than six months. Annoyed by the attempts for attention, Angelica kicked him across the room showing no restraint.
Bill closed the door having seen enough. He couldn't begin to figure out why Mark cared about these people and he really didn't want to find out. He was so angry with them he could explode, but he had to keep his emotions in check or else he'd accidentally free kill. He left Mark's mind and gently woke the boy.
Mark slowly opened his eyes and then saw Bill. "Mornin' Uncle," he muttered out sleepily. He rubbed his eyes to rid himself of the sleepiness to no avail. "What time is it?"
"Oh uhm," Bill glanced at his watch then returned his full attention to Mark. "Its 3."
"In the afternoon?" Mark inquired fearing he slept way too long.
"No, in the morning," Bill corrected.
"Then why'd you wake me up?"
"You seemed to be having nightmares," Bill answered casually.
