Blood. Chaos. Death. These things are what Kill grew up around. He was born in a dimension known as Fight Falls. Kill was used to this and it was all he'd ever known. However, that didn't mean he enjoyed it.
Kill woke up early in the morning. He was around six years old. The room was dark with a light crimson glow as the sun shone through the blinds. He sighed as he looked at the ceiling of his room. It was still cracked from fighting from the last purge.
Purges were events in Fight Falls where residents were forced to fight to the death. They happened once a decade. Purges didn't end until a resident died. If so much time passed without a death large monsters came out. They were ruthless and killed without consequence.
Kill quietly got out of his bed shaking his head to clear it of thoughts. He didnt like to think of the purge. His parents had died in the purge. He was alone, and in Fight Falls that wasn't a good thing.
Kill went to the kitchen and opened the fridge. His eyes desperately scanned the inside. He felt his heart sink when all he saw was half a stick of butter. He didn't have any money. His parents had died so suddenly and they had expected to survive. He had been left with just a large empty house.
He looked out the kitchen window towards the stadium in the distance. That was his best chance to get any money. If he could win even a single fight he'd have enough to buy food for the day. His stomach growled. Before he could change his mind he left to sign up.
When he made it to the stadium he hesitated. Was he really going through with this? He pushed open the door and saw a bunch of people there. He sized everyone up. There wasn't really anyone to be worried about. He signed his name confidently.
The wait time was about fifteen minues. After that papers were passed out with match ups. Kill smiled as he read the first of his opponents. He knew the kid well. Their families had been close so they'd grown up together.
The only issue he'd have with the kid was his cowardice. He knew that his father had died in the purge but his mother had survived. Kill didn't really understand why his mother didn't fight but he wouldn't complain. He needed the money badly.
Since Kill's match was first he headed out and climbed into the arena. His opponent was already there. They walked to each other and shook hands, as was customary before matches.
The boy Kill was to fight smirked. "You should quit before I hurt you Kill."
"Oh, come now, Todd. You and I both know my name is Kill for a reason," Kill responded calmly as he smirked at Todd.
Todd scoffed. "May the best fighter win," he said trying to calm himself to no avail.
"Oh, don't worry. I plan on it."
After the exchange they went to opposite sides of the arena. They waited a full minute before they were given the okay to fight.
"Okay... I don't need to Kill him. Just knock him out..." Kill muttered to himself.
He spent a few minutes dodging and blocking Todd's attacks allowing him to grow exhausted. Once he was tired Kill grabbed his arm and threw him into a wall of the arena. Todd slumped to the ground out cold. Kill was declared the winner and got to move on to the next round.
After the rest of the battles ended they were given a ten minute break. During the break friends got together and talked. Kill was left sitting alone. He didn't have any friends. He just found socializing with people pointless.
About five minutes before the break ended a boy approached Kill. "You fought really well. I thought he was your friend." He said as he sat beside him.
"Friends aren't a thing in the arena. And outside of it I'm alone," he responded simply.
"I see. My name is Dipper. But everyone just calls me Dip," the boy introduced himself.
"I'm Kill Cipher," Kill told him.
"I bet you can win this entire thing Kill," Dip said confidently.
"Aren't you fighting?" Kill questioned.
"Nope. My family watches these events. I'll be cheering for you."
Kill nodded and then stood. The break was over and the next match was ready to begin. Dip waved bye and ran off as Kill went back into the arena.
Kill easily won all the matches. Dip talked to him between each set. Kill told Dip about a fantasy he had started having after he lost his parents.
"I want to destroy this place," Kill told Dip.
"But how would you?"
"Does it really matter?"
"No but it'd be nice if you had a gameplan."
"I suppose you're right," Kill muttered.
Dip tilts his head "why not use magic?"
Kill smiled. Dip spent hours helping Kill plan on how to destroy Fight Falls. As they plotted they grew close.
"Next month," Dip said randomly.
"What do you mean?" Kill asked.
"Destroy it the first of next month."
So on the days leading up to the first the two boys made preparations. On the day the deed was to be done two cops showed up on Kill's doorstep. When Kill opened his door his heart started beating rapidly.
"Hello sir. We've received intel that you're going to destroy this dimension today," the officer said calmly.
"How could thay be? Destroying an entire dimension?" Kill questioned trying to play innocent.
"You make a valid point but we should search your house just in case."
Kill stepped outside and let the officers in. Kill then sat on the ground and touched his hands to the ground. He forced the core of the planet to heat up to a temperature so high that the entire planet exploded. The fragments of the planet had magic embedded in them so that when they touched another planet that planet had the same thing happen until the entire dimension was destroyed.
Screams. Thats all Kill could hear for hours until everyone except for Dip died.
Dip rushed to Kill and hugged him tightly. "You did it!!" He said happily.
"Yeah..." Kill seemed to be horrified by the bloody land around him. He stared at the dimension now nothing more than floating islands. "But at what cost..."
"I know its bad, but we don't have to fight for everything anymore!" Dip said happily.
"Yeah but.... So many people died.... Aren't you upset?"
"Im happy cuz you're alive," Dip said simply.
Present time
Kill looked at Bill then shook his head. "I don't deserve forgiveness for what I did. I was young and didn't even have a better reason than the desire to do so."
"While you have a point you do regret it."
"Yeah. I suppose you have a point. I just wish Dip would leave me alone. He thinks I'm his just because were the only survivers.."
A knock was then heard on the door.
