Between falling into a realm portal and growing seventy feet of hair, I'd say this is the weirdest day of my life. And trust me, I've seen weird things.
Hi, my name is Hunter Winroux, and welcome to my life.
Before we begin, I'm going to have to set things straight , so let's give a rundown of said life so far:
I was born out of an affair between Hades, god of the underworld, and Khione, goddess of winter.
The problem? I was born with glowing ginger hair. The other problem? I was kidnapped and locked in a tower for the first eighteen years of my life.
Yes, I'm literally the real life Rapunzel. No seriously, the story was based on me.
Luckily, I was eventually returned to my mother and her husband, Arcas (who was still under belief that he was my father), and their kingdom, New Greece. I was also finally ridden of all seventy feet of my hair, thank gods for that.
But it wasn't a complete happily ever after.
I may have gotten myself stuck in the Lotus Hotel, where almost 200 years feels like three hours.
I got out eventually, but there were once again two problems.
First problem? It had been almost 200 years since I'd first entered the hotel. Second Problem? I was cursed. Not only did I barely remember who I was, but I had gone from eighteen years old, to four.
Thankfully, the fates were on my side. I hitched along with two runaway demigods, Thalia and Luke, Both of which were more than pleased to help me find our way.
We eventually found our way to Camp Half-Blood, a summer camp for demigods.
I grew up at that camp, living my life as a sole child of Hades, only discovering who my mother was and my role as long lost princess a year and a half ago.
So yes, my life has been quite strange so far. But that's not all!
Two years ago I was assigned to train Emilie Jefferson, the newest protector of Realm Peace.
What are the realms? The realms are a series of dimensions, each one containing a different fictional story.
The Protector of Realm Peace's (or PORP, as I tend to call it) job is easy to understand, they're in charge of protecting the realms, and maintaining peace across them all.
Ever since that winter two years ago, I've gone from an outsider of a minor goddess, to not only princess of New Greece, but one of the most trusted members of the Realm Council's staff. (They look over/manage the realms and the portal travel system)
For the first time in those two years, I finally felt like I had peace, the peace to finally sit back and do some adventuring.
But sometimes the fates have different plans for us.
