Ice Cold Abyss •[Todoroki Shoto x reader]•

Chapter 5

It was now lunch time and I walked into a very crowded cafeteria. Everyone was sitting in groups and chatting happily. I decided to sit alone, I didn't know anyone. I grabbed a bento box and walked to a table that was empty and away from all the chatter. I could see Midoriya and Uraraka were sitting with some of our classmates.
"Can I sit here?" I looked up to be met with gray and turquoise eyes.
"Sure." He sat down and started eating, at first it was a little awkward but it started to become comfortable.
"Why did you want to sit here?" I was genuinely curious.
"Everyone else is too loud and it is too crowded." He kept his monotone voice and stoic expression. I was no different, I always built up walls and wouldn't let anyone break them down.
           "So... you're Endeavors son?" His expression got darker and he clenched his fist.
"Yeah." He didn't say anything after. I think I struck a nerve. I have to make this right.
"Look... I didn't mean to make you upset. I don't know your issues and I'm not going to pretend like I do. I understand if that is a subject you don't want to talk about and I apologize. I was just trying to create a conversation, I'm not good with social interactions." I said the last part a little quieter. He looked slightly shocked by my words and relaxed. Not long after, Midoriya, Uraraka, and a guy I now know as Iida came up to our table.
"H-hey L/N? We w-wanted to know what y-your quirk was." Midoriya seemed nervous or embarrassed. He held a slightly burnt notebook and pen.
"I will tell you but I'm not comfortable with you writing it down." He looked surprised and then started to fidget. Uraraka looked surprised as well.
"T-that is f-fine! I didn't m-mean to make you uncomfortable!" He was turning a little red and I could feel Todoroki's eyes on me.
"It's fine. My quirk allows me to move things around me, solid, liquid or gas through portals or with my mind." Midoryia looked interested and Todoroki still had his Stoic expression.
"That's so Cool!" Yelled Uraraka happily.
"Very impressive." Iida has chimed in.
Time Skip a few days
We were now in hero training I could hear loud footsteps leading to the classroom.
"I AM HERE!" Allmight stepped into the room and everyone was surprised. A lot of people started to whisper and talk among themselves in disbelief and admiration.
"I will be your hero training teacher!" Well this is interesting. We were all to change into our Gym clothes and walked to ground Beta.
"We are going to split you up in groups and you will play the part of heroes and villains!" I was group I with Ojiro and Hagakure.
I watched Bakugo and Iida against Midoriya and Uraraka for a while but got bored. My team was up against Todoroki and shoji, we were assigned heroes and they were assigned villains. I pulled Hagakure and Ojiro aside to come up with a plan.
"Since Hagakure is invisible I think she should be the one to sneak around and locate the bomb." Ojiro nodded and I assumed Hagakure did as well.
"Ojiro you can use your tail to fight off Shoji since he will most likely be the one on offense while Todoroki is defense. Just try to distract and stall them as long as you can. I will help Hagakure find the bomb since I can teleport floors. Once we find it I will distract Todoroki while Hagakure sneaks past and touches the bomb."
"That sounds great L/N!" Hagakure sounded very enthusiastic.
"Remember to be careful and stay light on your feet, Todoroki is most likely to freeze whole building on first contact."
"Right! We understand!" They replied in unison.
Once it was our turn we waited until we were released. We raced into the building and I saw ice rushing towards us. We all jumped to avoid it but Ojiro's tail got frozen in ice. I walked over and kicked the base of the ice, shattering it. I knew Hagakure had already run off to locate the bomb. I could hear heavy footsteps rushing our way.
"Ojiro stay on guard, Shoji is rushing this way." He nodded and before Shoji could see me I turned a corner and ran to find the bomb.
After a few minutes I heard Hagakure speak up.
"Y/N I found the bomb! It's located on the 4th floor and Todoroki is guarding it, like you said."
"Okay, I'll head up." I focused my mind and pictured the bomb in my head. I felt myself falling and opened my eyes I was standing in the hallway outside of the room that held the bomb. I knew Todoroki was inside the room. I figure hand-to-hand combat was a good idea. I rushed in and caught Todoroki off guard. It seems Ojiro was keeping Shoji away. I tackled Todoroki and threw him to the floor. I attempted to pin him down and use my capture tape, but he flipped us around so he was on top. I straddled his waist and threw him away a few feet. He immediately shot ice at me, I wasn't fast enough and it cut me on my cheek. He then punched me into the wall. I could feel something painfully crack. He rushed at me again but I was able to dodge. I could hear All might yell throughly the speakers.
"Team Hero's have won!" I guess Hagakure was able to touch the bomb. I could feel my body collapsing and my eyelids were heavy. I saw a blur of red and white. Then all I saw was darkness.
