6. ch. How should I feel?

"He likes me!!??" Shouted out the little confused shrimp. He never thought that someone actually could like him and.. Kageyama of all people... Hinata blushed, weirdly enough, he was extremely happy to hear that. 'Pff, there's no way Kageyama could like me! He always angry at me after all.. but it would explain why he was acting so strange..' Shouyo was lost in thoughts. A million questions was racing through his head. Were Nishinoya and Tanaka lying? Could Kageyama actually have feelings for him? And most importantly,  how should I feel?

The lesson had already ended and Tobio was getting worried about the shrimp, could something happen to him? The setter started to sweat at the thought of Hinata getting hurt. He decided to go look for him. He looked everywhere, in the classroom, the cafeteria, the place where he and Hinata practiced volleyball, but the spiker was nowhere to be found. There was only one place where he didn't look.. on the roof. Kageyama opened the door, praying that his classmate was there. At first, he didn't see anything. 'Damn it! Where are you idiot!?' He sat onto the floor, sighing in defeat. 'Maybe he just wasn't feeling well and went home..' he thought to himself, little did he know that the person he was looking for was already there..

Hinata was sitting on the edge of the roof, he needed some time to think. Just as he was about to head back, the door opened and the person who was opening it was no one else then Kageyama. The shrimp quickly hid behind some colomn. 'Wheew, that was close!' He thought to himself. He was planning on waiting till Tobio went away, but he wasn't moving. Kageyama just sat there, staring at nothing. Hinata decided to try to sneak out,unfortunately for him, he tripped and fell and of course, Tobio heard him.

"H-Hinata? Are you ok?" Kageyama quickly ran to him,helping him with standing up. "Y-yeah,I'm ok.." Hinata looked down, trying to hide how red his face was getting. "Can you stand?" Asked the concerned setter. Hinata tried to stand on his both  legs, but only yelped in pain. "Yeah, but it hurts a little.." he lied, he didn't want to trouble Kageyama, he really didn't want to be alone with him right now. However, Tobio saw in how much pain he was. He sighed. "Come here,you dumbass!" He picked Hinata up. "We are going to the nurses office." He carried him for the rest of the way. He sat the shrimp down and called the nurse. She checked his legs and bandaged the left one. "Just a strained ankle, nothing to worry about." She smiled and said that they should go home early. Kageyama helped Hinata to get onto his bike and drove him home.

"Thank you, Kageyama. "Hinata smiled, averting his eyes from the setter. Tobio noticed it and finally asked him. "Hinata.. why are you avoiding me?"

"H-huh? What are you talking about?" Shouyo looked to the ground. Kageyama stepped closer to him. "About all of this, you clearly don't want to talk to me.. Did I.. do something?" Kageyama asked, he looked like a kicked puppy. "No.. you didn't do anything. "He whispered. "Then why? I can leave if you want.." He was starting to walk away. "No! Please don't leave!" Shouyo grabbed his hand. "Please don't leave.." he begged, Kageyama stared down at their intervened hands. "O-ok.. can you please let me go now?" He was blushing like crazy. "Yeah, s-sorry about that.." Hinata quickly let go of his hand, laughing anxiously. Hinata stared at his own hands,fiddling with them. Kageyama looked at him and chuckled. "It's ok, you dumbass.." he slowly lowered his head and covered up Hinata's lips with his own. To his surprise, he didn't pull away, but started to kiss back. The setter couldn't believe his eyes, he was kissing Shouyo.. He was kissing his crush!  After a couple of seconds, they both pulled back, both being a blushing mess. They stared into each other's eyes. "I like you Hinata.." Kageyama murmured softly. His words were met with silence. Was he wrong to assume Shouyo felt the same way? Just as he started to panic, he heard a whisper. "I like you too.." he stuttered out. Hinata was thinking about his feelings for Kageyama for a while now. How could he be so blind to only get it now? He loved him and it seemed like his partner felt the same thing.

Kageyama was smiling from ear to ear, he never would've dreamed of getting together with his crush, but there he was. Wishing goodbye to Shouyo and giving him a goodbye kiss. This was a start of something truly wonderful..
