Izuku's POV~"You need to go the other way! Their closing in, you have to get out of there!" I shouted through my mic.
"I can't go that way, there's fire blocking my exit!" Toga screamed back, fear evident in her voice.
I let out a worried breath of air as I started to type away on my keyboard. There was one other exit, but it was electronically locked. It was some pretty sophisticated tech, and I had known it would take more time to hack than it was worth, but now I had no other choice.
I quickly got to work, knowing that I only had a few minutes before Toga was busted or burned. "Izu, not to hurry you or anything, but you need to hurry!" Toga shouted through out connected ear peices. I winced at how loud she was, but didn't comment, knowing that she was stressed and freaking out.
"Got it! There's a door three and a half meters in front of you. Find it and hide, wait for my instructions." I ordered.
"Roger that." Her voice came through as I saw her dot on my screen start to move towards the exit. Of course I had a tracker on her, we always have trackers on missions. I have to be able to locate and moniter them in case of an emergency.
"I'm in. What'd I do now?" She asked me.
"Follow the hall, it should lead to an exit." I said, thinking we might actually pull it off.
"Um, we have a problem." She said, making my heart drop.
"What? What is it Toga?" I asked worriedly.
"There's no hall, it's just a closet." She said back.
I stared at my blueprints in disbelief. There was supposed to be a hall there! 'Shit, these must be old.' I thought to myself.
"Izuku, I can hear them coming!" She whisper-yelled to me, not wanting to draw more attention to herself.
"I know, just stay put. Hopefully they won't notice you and they'll just go past. Then you can escape along the original route." I said to her.
I hadn't gotten into the security cameras yet, not seeing a reason for it. I had the blueprints and trackers. I could essentially see everything that I needed, without the added effert and lost time. Now, I needed to see first hand what was happening.
Once I got into the cameras, I pinpointed the hall Toga was trapped in, and sure enough one side was surrounded by flames.
"Izu, it's getting real fucking hot in here." She whined and I couldn't blame her. The flames were almost up to the door. I had to get her out of there or she'd burn to death.
"I know! I know! Toga they're right outside the door, you have to make it through until they leave." I said frantically as panic started to set in. I knew we were done for at that point. As soon as I start to panic, everything goes to shit and we never make it out. I didn't want to fail again.
"Izu, deep breaths. We'll be fine." Toga said soothingly, knowing that I could easily have a panic attack in the next few seconds.
"No we won't! We're gonna fail again! I can't deal with that again! I don't- I can't-" I started to hyperventilate as all the possiblities rushed through my head.
"That's it. Dabi, shut it down, he's having another panic attack!" She shouted through all of our radios. The next minutes, all the computers and tech that were lit up, doing their jobs, were shut off.
I kept panicking, getting progressively worse, until a few seconds later Toga and Dabi both rushed in. Dabi grabbed me into his arms as Toga started to run her hands through my unruly hair. This wasn't the first time we've had to stop training because I panicked.
