Jumper cables- when you jab your fingers into someone's sides.
Izuku's POV~
"It's not like I tried to get mugged." I pointed out, moving my head around to assess how badly bruised my neck was going to be. The answer, pretty bad. I barely shifted it when the pain made me wince. I hadn't noticed it before because I was to preoccupied with not being murdered, but the adrenaline had worn off now.
"Hey, let me take a look at that." Kirishima said gently, walking over to me. He slowly moved my chin up so I was looking up at the night sky. He ran his fingers over the bruise delicately, trying to not press to hard and hurt me. It was a sweet gesture, but useless in the end. I flinched when he touched where the man's thumb had been. "The bruise is already forming, you should probably ice it. It's gonna be a bitch to deal with for a few weeks though." He concluded, stepping back and letting me have some space.
I nodded at his words. I had already figured that. "How the hell am I supposed to hide this?" I said to myself.
"Who the hell are you hiding it from?" Kacchan asked me suspiciously.
I just sent him a glare, upset with his tone. "We both know who I'm referring to." I said.
Kacchan rolled his eyes at me. Kirishima stayed quiet and watched our exchange. "Which one specifically? The crazy bitch? The burnt pyromanica? Maybe it's the one with the hand fetish?" He said, clearly trying to piss me off.
And boy was it working.
"Shut up." I said to him.
"What was that?"
"I said shut the hell up!" I shouted at him, losing my temper. He could make fun of me and call me Deku all day, but the moment he starts making fun of my family, I was done.
"Tch, so defensive." Kacchan said, still enjoying how worked up I was getting.
"Of course I'm defensive, you self centered, egotistical, bastard!" I pushed his chest, causing him to stumble back, just slightly. "How would you feel if the person that you thought you could trust, that ended up bullying you so severely you ran away, started making fun of the only people that've ever cared about you?! The only people that didn't throw you to the side because of something you couldn't control!" I continued to shout at him. It seemed to shock him enough to shut him up.
"You can say whatever you want to me, you can ram me into as many walls as you feel like, but the moment you go after my family- that's where I draw the line." I said lowly, daring him to keep talking.
"Okay, let's all calm down. We should get your neck checked out." Kirishima said, trying to defuse the tension. I shrugged him off and started to walk in the direction I knew the bar was. "You can't seriously think we're gonna let you walk back by yourself after what just happened?" He questioned as he walked after me.
I stopped my movements. "Well I'm not just going to lead you back to headquarters." I shot back. I was anger, tired, and sore. I wanted to go home and go to bed. I didn't want to deal with either of them anymore.
"We aren't letting you walk alone, nerd." Kacchan said from behind Kirishima with his arms crossed. I scowled at him, still completely livid.
"Then I guess we'll just stand here all night." I said, slightly shivering as the cold caught up to me once again. I should have grabbed a warmer hoodie.
"Like hell we will, you're already freezing. If you won't let us walk you back to your house, then you're coming to ours." Kacchan said simply.
"What? Hell no-" I was cut off as Kacchan walked right past me, grabbing onto my hood, and continuing to walk, dragging me with him. Kirishima had an amused look on his face as he followed behind us. I stuck my tongue out at him, causing him to laugh at me. I pouted and turned to face forwards, walking easier then.
