during the couple of days that the two boys didn't see each other, michael thought a lot. he thought about how their future would turn out if they were in a relationship. he really wanted to ask calum to be his boyfriend but he didn't know how. he even asked like about it but he just shrugged and said "whenever it feels right."

also, calum had been thinking in the time that the two boys don't see each other. but he thought about how his parents would react to him liking a boy.

he's only ever told ashton and his sister that he likes boys: they were very accepting.

he told michael that his mum would like him but what he meant by that is that if he introduced him as a friend to his parents, they'd find him interesting and accepting. michael doesn't judge people and he doesn't make fun of calum for having such a heavy accent and sometimes terrible english. michael understands calum.
