"So, how do you suppose we'll get out of this situation Yukhei?"

"Well I'm sorry that you, by your OWN decision, decided to look for me"

"So you're saying that it's my fault that we're in this mes-"

"QUIET!" A man screams in french, cutting your conversation with the former sniper short. You pursed your lips before glaring at the man who stood by the doorway in front of you and Yukhei.

Right now, the two of you found yourselves seated side by side, each tied to a chair with both your arms and legs bound by thick ropes.

"This is all your damn fault" You mutter, rethinking how things ended up this way.

*

You remembered that moment so well.
The moment when your eyes locked that night at the bar in Paris.
The moment when triggers were pulled, glass shattered, fists came in contact with faces and you and Yukhei both got out of there with a few minor injuries.

Then, you both silently walked away from the place, quickly blending with the couples on the streets to avoid being chased by the men earlier.

You remembered the moment you glanced at Yukhei as you two both headed to who knows where. And from the expression he was making, you could tell that he was planning to run away again.
Because on his face was that same look from the time when you last saw him six years ago.

It scared you. And you hated it.
So before he could leave, you grabbed him by the hand, intertwining your fingers together.

His eyes went wide and he quickly glanced at you only to be met with your glare.

"Missed me that much?" He asks with smirk, quickly covering up his shock and trying to lighten the mood.

"We need to blend with the crowd. This makes it more realistic" You said coldly, breaking eye contact.

"Then stop looking so mad"

You stopped in your tracks, gripping his hand tighter in frustration. For some reason, his words irked you.

"y/n?"

"You were planning to leave again. Weren't you?"

"I never really intended to stay"

This time, it was your turn to face him with shock painted across your features, your grip on his hand loosening as you felt your body go numb.

"Don't look at me like that. I'll feel bad" He muttered, suddenly averting your gaze and opting to look around the town.

You didn't really know if it was in the way he said, or if it was because of the look in his eyes, but you felt something in you break for a moment. Although you were snapped to reality when you felt his fingers slipping away. But before he could get out of your reach, once again, you held his hand tightly, anger suddenly washing over at the thought that he was going to take advantage of that moment to run off.

"Oh you better feel like shit Wong Yukhei! I've been searching for you for over a yea-"

A second ago, you were fuming. A second later and Yukhei's pulling you closer, hands on your hips as he leans in for a kiss. It was rough, sloppy and tasted like the half-drunken beer on his table at the bar earlier.

But his lips were warm.

That though was the farthest thing in your mind at the moment. When the initial shock disappeared, you tried your best to push Yukhei away, but he wasn't budging.
