Small notes- there already pro hero's, age 21 for both Izuku and Katsuki

Summary: Deku is away for a mission and it's been a year. He was supposed to return the day before Christmas Eve but ends up not showing up. What will happen?

*No One's POV*

Katsuki was driving home from a long portal. As he sits in traffic all he wants to do is get to his boyfriend who will be back later that night. It has been a whole year without Deku and he missed him so much. Deku left two days after Christmas. It was hard to say goodbye but they both said hello would be easier. They kept in touch as long as they could. Which were every night and every morning. Lunchtime also, but for the last two weeks, they both were too busy to call each other.

*Bakugo's POV*

I finally got home after patrol. I got out of my hero uniform and threw on sweatpants also a black tank top. It was now 8:00 Izuku should be home in two hours. I grabbed a small box off the end table and fiddle with it. When Izuku gets home I will ask him to marry me. We have been together since our second year of UA, It has now been 6 years so I decided it was time to call him my fiance.

"Ok, I'm not just going to sit here for two hours doing nothing," I said throwing on a movie, threw the ring in my pocket and laid down on the couch.

*No one's POV*

Four hours passed and the clock struck midnight. Katsuki sat up from the couch confused about where Izuku was. He just questioned that his flight was delayed so Katsuki laid back down and closed his eyes.

Katsuki wakes up later that day. Still no sight of Izuku.

'Maybe he decide to go to Inko's house because that's where we're going for Christmas eve dinner' Katsuki said in his head.

*Timeskip cause of my lazy ass*

Katsuki was waiting outside of Inko's door with his parents inside already. All he hoped was that Izuku was there waiting for him for a hug or a kiss. Which will probably turn into a makeout session. Tears will be shed, tears of joy, of course. The door finally opened.

"Hey Inko," Katsuki said and hugged her.

"Hello Katsuki, how have you been?" Inko asked.

"Great, is Izuku here?" he said walking in and taking his shoes off before entering all the way.

"No, I thought he was with you? Has he not gotten back from his mission yet?" Inko asked.

Katsuki saw his parents in the living room and said hi.

"Katsuki, where's Izuku?" Inko questioned.

"Katsuki?!" Inko now sounding worried.

"I don't know, ok," Katsuki said with panic in his voice. He sat on the couch and turned the tv on to the news to see if there was anything about his Deku.

After 30 minutes of nothing and the story came up about Hero Deku. Everyone went silent and listen closely.

"News on Hero Deku going missing. He was last seen at *insert airport of your choice* Airport if anyone has any idea where he is call 911 immediately."

A tear rolled down Katsuki's face, then another, and so many more. But not a cry was heard. All you heard was a phone being dialed and ringing. Nothing, there was no voice or an answer. He called Izuku again to see if he would answer. He prayed that he was ok and that nothing bad happened. He needs his Deku by his side untilled they died together of old age.

After a while, Izuku picked up. But there was just silence. Until you heard a weak call:

"Kat? Please tell me you're there? I need your help!! Please help!!! Kat please I need you to save me!! I love you so much, please help me. *cough cough* KAT PLEASE I DON'T WANT TO DIE!!!!! *cough cough* I love ..." There was more silence an endless silence.

"Bunny are you there? Please tell me you're there! Zuku I love you can't go!!!!" Katsuki answers his call for help but no one answers back. All you heard were sirens. And someone from a distance saying Izuku was dead.

Katsuki's love of his love was gone and he never got to put a ring on his finger. He hung up the phone and tears poured out of his eyes as her knees caved in. he fell to the floor and he could hear distant tears from Inko. he felt someone hug him from behind and felt drops of water hit his back. He couldn't say a word all he could do was cry.

His sweet little Bunny was gone. He will no longer see his smile or hear his laugh. It was all slowly disappearing. He started to forget how Izuku looked like. That's how broken he was. Things will never be the same ever again.

*Bakugo's POV*

I was woken by someone shaking me. But all I heard was light whispers of my name:

"Kacchan? Kacchan? Kat? Hey I'm home"

"Mmm, whatever I'm going back to sleep" I rolled over and hugged the blanket that was over me.

"Is that any way to talk to your boyfriend on Christmas eve Kat?"

"Go away Deku!!! I'm too damn tired" I start to fall asleep again.

"Fine, I'll go and maybe disappear forever. Maybe hear your cries from my grave" Izuku said sarcastically.

I shot up quickly. "Don't do that Bunny!! I can't lose you!! You can't leave me!!!" I started to breakdown crying. Which I never do. 

"Kacchan why are you crying?" Deku questioned.

"Would you believe me if I say tears of joy?" I responded

"No! Of course not, now tell me why."

"I had this nightmare that you went and got yourself killed. After not seeing you a whole year in person and then you dying. You can't joke around with that line anymore!" I cried in his arms.

"Well I can tell you I'm not going anywhere" he stated.

I thought for a second and remembered the ring in my pocket. I pushed off of him and said:

"Damn right your not going anywhere. You're staying with me forever whether you like it or not" I got down on one knee "Izuku you are the love of my love. We have been through the ups and downs, lefts and rights. If that's even a thing. I finally want to say that without you in my life I don't know where I would be. So Izuku Mirdoriya will you marry me and become Izuku Bakugo?"

I finally looked up at him and he was in tears. With a quick answer of a "yes!", I put the ring on his finger and kissed him. It was a passionate kiss that was needed for so long.

"I love you so much Katsuki Bakugo," he said as we hugged.

"I love you too Izuku"

I pulled away from the hug and kissed him again this time with lust and it got heated quickly. After a while, we both separated for air with a string over saliva hanging from our lips.

All of a sudden Deku started laughing.

"What are you laughing at damn nerd?"

"That our parents are getting one of the best Christmas present ever from us"

"Damn right they are"

Another one-shot done. I feel really bad that I haven't posted in a while. I had school work and a lot of stress but I wanted to say this was supposed to be posted before the new year had started but I never got around to it until now. See you in the next one-shot. Bye
