Alexis sighed, opening her laptop. She pulled up YouTube, readjusting the blankets surrounding her body. She grabbed a few tissues as she prepared for the worst, clicking on her new video and scrolling to the comments.

'Wow, you really are an attention whore. Good job showing your cleavage.'

'ugh just die you emo fag!!!!1 no one loves you'

'omfg just stop making videos! your a worthless nobody, and your accent is so fake'

'How much to you cost, slut? I bet your cheap as hell.'

Alexis couldn't take anymore. Her roommate was gone for the night, so she was free to remove the blanket from her shoulders and rush to the bathroom with tears. She opened the cabinet under the sink,  grabbing her blade. She smiled through the tears as she stared down at the sharp piece of metal in her fingers, the comments swirling around in her head. She moved backwards, pressing her back against the wall of her bathroom and slipped down to the floor.

"They're right..." Alexis told herself, dragging the blade across her wrist. "They're all right." She watched as the cuts produced blood in the form of droplets upon her pale skin. She continued crying as she added to the surface of her arm.

After adding about 10-15 more, Alexis stopped and watched the blood trickle down her arm, the cuts burning.

"Bloody hell." She muttered under her breath as she wiped her tears and grabbed a washcloth. She quickly wet it and dabbed away the blood, also succeeding in worsening the sting. Alexis hissed, squeezing her eyes closed.

After she cleaned up, Alexis hid the blade and exited the bathroom, and headed to her room. She pulled on an old jumper and some Pokémon pajama pants, crawling in bed and crying herself to sleep.
