Chapter 15

Jughead's POV
I woke up with my angel in my arms. She was peacefully sleeping only wearing my shirt. The sun shining on her face made it way more difficult for me not to kiss her. I kissed her lips and I squeezed her in my chest. I can't get enough of her. It really scares me. What if she breaks up with me and I lose her forever.

My thoughts were interrupted by her beautiful eyes and angelic voice. "You are staring" she said with her sleepy voice. "So?" I said"It's creepy" she said "it's romantic" I said "you make it romantic" she said "I love you" I said
"I love you" she said

"Come on now let's wake up. Our parents will be here in 7 hours " she said

"Key word 7 hours why should we wake up now?" I said

"We have to clean the house, cook and get our selfs ready. I wanna make a good impression on your mom babe." She said

My mom treats her so bad but she still wants to impress her. She's so sweet

"Even if you don't it doesn't matter. I am the one dating you not her" I said

"Also you do know I have hired people to clean the house and make all the food,right?" I said

"Jug!why didn't you do that?"she said

"So my baby and I can relax" I said

"You are so sweet" she said

Seven hours later

Betty's POV
I was putting on some nude lipstick. When the doorbell rang.

I looked at Jug who was fixing his hair

"They are here" we both said

We went to open the door

"You go first"Jug said clearly nervous

I opened the door to reveal my family
My mom Alice
My dad Hall(he is an normal human being here)
My brother Charles
And my sister Polly

"Baby" my mom said hugging me
"Hey mom" I said

"Hey little nugget" my dad said
"Hey papa" I said

"Wow this place is huge" my brother said "yeah no shit" Polly said
"Nice to see you too guys" I said giving them a group hug

"Hello mr.Cooper" Jughead said
"Well well we'll this is the boy that took my daughters heart" my dad said shaking his hand
My dad never hugs people. Except his family and Jughead knows about it

"Hello mrs. Cooper" Jughead said
"Please call me Alice. Thank you for inviting us here" my mom said hugging him

"He is way more handsome up close Betty" Polly said
"Nice to meet you too" Jughead said hugging her
"Break her heart and I'll break your face" Charles said
"Trust me I won't" Jughead said while giving him a bro hug

15 minutes later
Jughead's POV
We were sitting on the living room when we heard the doorbell
"We will get that" I said and took Betty's hand

"Hey boy" my dad said hugging me
"Sorry we were late. I was talking to your mom" he whispered in my ear
"Thanks dad" I said

"Hey Betty" my dad said hugging her
"Hello mr. Jones" Betty said
"Please call me FP" my dad said

"Hey Jelly" I said as I saw my 16-year-old sister
"Hey big bro" she said hugged me tight

"Wow She is gorgeous" jellybean said
"Tell me about it" I said
"Hey JB" Betty said
"WOW. She called me JB. I love her already" jellybean said

Then the devil himself.
My mom.

"Hello son" my mom said hugging me but I didn't hug her back

"Hello mother" I said

"Hello mrs. Jones" Betty said

She didn't ever hug her

I saw the sadness in Betty's eyes

My dad gave my mom an angry look

"What?" She asked acting innocent

"Remember what we talked about" my dad said

"Betty's family is in the living room. Shall we go?" I asked them

"We shall" my dad said

An hour later
We were all sitting in the dining room eating dinner. Everything was perfect

My dad was chatting with Hal

Betty was talking with JB and her sister

While I was talking with Alice and Charles

Oh I forgot to mention my mom

Who was alone eating her food giving Betty dirty looks

Suddenly Betty saw my mom giving her an dirty look

She started digging her nails to her palm

I quickly put my hand in hers

"Don't" I said to her

"I am sorry" she said

"Don't be" I said looking at her eyes

Three hours later
The dinner went great
Our families liked each other
Except my mom who was silent the whole dinner even tho Alice and Hal tried to start conversations but my dad always interrupted them
Now we where saying goodbye to our families
"Mr. Cooper can I speak to you in private" I said as he was getting into the drivers seat

We went in the backyard

"What did you want to talk about Jughead" Hall said

I was nervous as fuck

What if he didn't like me

What if he rejects my answer

Be strong jug for her

"Mr.Cooper the minute I saw your daughter I knew she was the one for me. My biggest fear is losing her. I love her more that anything in this world and I would do anything for her so I want to ask you if I have your permission to marry your daughter." I said

He had tears in his eyes

"Boy, you are a great person and Betty is so lucky that she has you. The way you looked at her and the way you talked to her tonight was so nice. Full of respect. Full of love. So I am sure to say that you have my blessings kid." He said

I was tearing up

"Thank you mr. Cooper" I said

"Please call me Hal" he said

"Honey we will miss our flight" Alice said

"Coming honey" Hall said

We waved them goodbye

"What were you and my dad talking about?" Betty asked

"Nothing babe. Now come on let's have some fun." I said as I picked her up and started kissing her

Right now I feel the happiest man on earth
