Chapter Two

~

Gilbert smirked as Elizaveta's mouth fell open.

"You bought a cathedral?" She asked in disbelief.

"Yep."

"You're an idiot." The Hungarian shook her head as she crossed her arms. "You can't just buy a tourist attraction, let alone a place of worship."

Gilbert waved his hand dismissively and they kept walking down Dublin's main street. "Well, I did. And no one can do anything about it, including you." He snapped the last bit and poked her arm. "I use my money for entertainment. Now I have a fucking cathedral. It's great."

"You have too much 'as-you-please' money, Gil. Why don't you give some to charity? Or donate some to preserve a cathedral instead of buying one." Elizaveta rolled her eyes as the male scoffed and just gave up, it was no use.

"Why don't you visit my majestic palace and then try and change my mind? You'll wish you bought it,"

The German dragged Elizaveta in through the huge oak doors of the cathedral, pulling her along down the aisle to the first pew, sitting her down. He sat next to her as a giddy, greedy smile broke out on his lips. He practically bounced with pride of his 'accomplishment'.

"So?" He leaned back, wiggling his eyebrows.

She looked around, impressed by the gorgeous architecture and just how old the standing building was. It took Elizaveta a while to say something since she was still drinking in her surroundings. Gilbert poked her arm and she glared at him.

"I still think you're a complete idiot. This is so selfish of you. People came here to pray and worship and you stole it from them." She tried to reason with him but he shrugged. The Hungarian frowned as she picked up an empty beer bottle from the floor of the pew. "Really? A party? At least have some respect, Gilbert."

"Oh, stop being so up tight." The German rolled his eyes and sighed dramatically. "It's mine now, I do what I want with it. You need to loosen up. Maybe a kiss will help?'" He puckered his lips and she pushed his shoulder gently.

Gilbert pulled her towards him and kissed her anyway, their lips locking passionately at once. He let a hand cup her neck and one slide down to her hip. It soon turned heated; hot breaths mixed, soft moans slipped out. Clearly, he had no respect.

Gilbert was ready to pin her down when a loud, angry sounding tune boomed from the organ. He groaned and pulled away.

"Not this shit again." The German rolled his eyes and sighed loudly. He glared up to the organ and Elizaveta looked utterly confused and frightened.

She stood up and also stared at the organ, wondering what kind of sick joke this was.

"What the hell? What kind of prank are you playing, Gilbert?" She hissed, grabbing him by the collar.

"No, no! This isn't a joke. The fucking organ is haunted or some shit. Unless someone is hiding in here. This happened last week." He tried to explain desperately.

Elizaveta just let go of him and left the building.

Gilbert was terribly suspicious and angry. He wanted to hunt this thing, person, whatever it was down and give it a lesson it would never forget. Determined, he decided to stay the night in the organ room.

The German sat there, a beer at his side along with a flashlight and a baseball bat. He knew he could stay awake. He payed close attention to every little thing and every creak or shadow he saw, he would chase down or grab his bat and brace himself.

Nothing ever came.

But he was there watching.

Watching the little imbecile who thought it was okay to just strut into this cathdral and snatch it. He kept his distance but he never let an oppurtunity pass to let his music express his anger and fury.

"I will get you, you disgraceful bastard."
