The Hybrid Chase

The Wolf Man

Before it struck again and before another scream could hit the Earth's surface, a pitch black wolf comes from behind and forms into a man. "Going after strangers are we now, big guy!?" The man struck and fought while transforming back into the wolf and lunges at the beast, almost drifting away I hoped there was a way I could help before I took my last breath. Suddenly I hear a chant that repeated itself saying...
"telum viribus naturae fieri , terra, aer , ignis, et aqua. hoc animal habeat inhumanum et dolore mortem
(a weapon is to be made by the forces of nature, earth, air, fire, and water.this beast must have a brutal and painless death)"

Finally realizing it was me, I made a ancient sword that was pure silver, with a gold handle and four symbols of all the elements on the blade. Now having a choice to make I wonder, "What should I do?" Seeing the battle still going, the wolf man was pinned down to the ground and I knew what I had to do. "Hey Wolfe!" I shout, "Fetch!"

The sword in the air the beast jumps up to get it, but the wolf man jumps up and catches the weapon before the beast does. When the wolf man stuck  once, the beast gets stabbed in the side, and it started burning . After getting stabbed a second time there was nothing left, but an empty vessel and a rotting body.

I lost so much blood I could barely move, "thank y-" I tried so hard to speak, but nothing came out. The wolf man tried to say something, but I blacked out before he got the chance. Is this my end, the way I die. I don't know, but if it was I'm glad it's watching that beast suffer.

Whispers I hear whispers, could it be, is it heaven? A bright light shined in my eyes and someone was above me, is it God? Then I see the wolf man. I find myself in some place full of scratches and blood. I get out of a bed I was on and start walking. MY LEG! I forgot about my leg, I look down and nothing. No bones, no blood. what did this guy do to me?

"I see your leg is getting better, and your blood loss has been cared for." The wolf man said.

"What did you do to me?" I ask hoping he didn't do anything bad to me.

"Relax, I just healed you with old herbs our friends gave to us. We never run out of them and make sure we keep a small pack of them with us at all times. You're lucky to be alive." He said.

"Why save me, why not just leave me for dead? I asked.

"I don't know why didn't you just let the wolf kill me, why not escape?" He replied, because you tried to save me I wanted to say. Instead I just stared. I didn't know what he was, but I was gonna find out.
