A Walk In The Woods

Staring deeply into the forest wondering what creature could be lurking in the shadows waiting to jump out and catch you, one step in you may never come out.

"Earth to Lena, Earth to Lena! Are you listening?!" Riley asked angrily.

"Yeah totally, your boyfriend cheated on you with the slut at school." I replied .

"Ugh that was an hour ago this is now, stop staring of into space!" She says grabbing my arm. "What's this?" She asked

"What's what?" I ask her, she points to my arm where a mark appeared out of nowhere. "I don't know."

"Well you better go see a tattoo artist and try to remove it or your dad will kill you!" Riley told me.

"You're right, thanks. See you tomorrow." I say. she gives me a wave goodbye and I head to the bus stop. I almost left, but something called my name coming from the woods.

"Lena." It whispered.

"Hello?" I call out. No answer, something was there watching me and I'm going to find out who or what it is.

Going left and right for about two hours I suddenly hear a stick break. Following the sound I walk closer and closer until I reach a bush. "It's ok I won't hurt you" I say.

"You might not but I will!" A voice said. Starting to back away and then this wolf type beast thing jumps out of the bushes and growls. I start running away, but it was no use the wolf is ten times faster than I am. There way too many trees, I'm soon to be the next animal attack story. I do something risky and attempt a sharp turn and manage to make it. The wolf on the other hand ran into a tree.

The wolf was so strong when it hit the tree the tree fell to the ground. I continue to run, I turn back for a split second and just like that, the wolf is back on my track. Before I could make my escape I trip over a stick. I turn just in time to see my death. I look away and scream dramatically and I managed to live another minute somehow, it didn't make a difference, when I got up the wolf got a piece of my leg and all you could see was bones, blood and my doom.
