The Hybrid Chase

Hybrid Training

"Just focus on destroying the melon." Andrew said. You know I ever since he started training me I felt like chopping my own head off. He goes blabbering "Focus Lena, focus!" Again and again. "Focus!" Once again and I lost it.

"I AM FOCUSED!!!!!!!!" I scream at Andrew. Right after I screamed sparks came out of my hands and blew up the melon and it injured Lawrence, that was a mistake. "Lawrence! I'm so sorry, are you ok, are you hurt, do you need the doctor, where's the doctor?!" I ask running towards him.

"I'm fine Lena, that was at a low ten percent we need higher than a fifty. Do you think you can do that?" Lawrence said.

"I - I - I can try, I've never done this, I don't even know what my full potential is." I struggled to say.

"It's ok you just need time, Lawrence can you get another melon?" Andrew asked, Lawrence nodded and brought another melon into a room. "Just focus on controlling your power."

'Okay, I can do this, I can control my power, I am a werewolf and a witch. I have a lot of power, I have unspeakable, unthinkable power right? Focus, Lena, focus I am a powerful, I am I am... I am a hybrid.' I instantly gained a higher power than before, and the sparks went into the melon and from the inside out it exploded.

"Great now you just need to turn into a wolf." Andrew said.

"UGH! Can i take a break my power is killing me, ha ha get it?" I said as they just look at me. "I'll take that as a no. Okay how am I gonna do this?" They brought out a death wolf prisoner, I'm guessing they had that question prepared. " wait I have to kill this thing!?" I didn't want to do that I barely knew how to make a melon explode how do they expect me to turn into a wolf?

Once the death wolf saw me it immediately knew who I was, and believe me it was not happy to see, but it was certainly happy to kill me. "THE HYBRID, GRRRRRRR!" The death wolf ran towards me turning into its true form. Trying to attack me I step aside and started cracking up.

"Right I forgot I'm the hybrid you wont let that thing kill me ha ha ha" I said until the death wolf pretty much tackled me. They were seriously gonna let this thing kill me, I quickly hold my hands up and shocked the death wolf with electricity stunning him for a couple of minutes. "I can't kill that thing it's too strong!" The death wolf stuck again by scratching me in the leg, I quickly put a force field of rocks in front of me and one by one I shot them at the death wolf. "Guys please help me!" The death wolf got his last strike by scratching me in the face. Now I'm ANGRY, I growl angrily as I start to turn into a werewolf an attack. I jump on top of the death wolf as it starts swinging me around I chomp on his neck, but after that it yanks me off of it and I hit the wall whimpering. I turn back into my original form staring up at the death wolf who is about to rip my throat out, Andrew starts to get up and save me, but before he could, he saw electricity flowing through my veins all around my arms and into my hands. I grabbed where the death wolf's heart would be and I put electricity into his system, so weak I could barely hold on. I scream at the top of my lungs fighting the pain I felt possibly killing me until I knew the death wolf was dead. The death wolf's vessel flew in the air and fell to the ground, with small bolts still in it. 

"LENA!!!! Lena, Lena look at me." Andrew said freaking out. I stare up at him confused. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah, but uh did I do that?"I ask struggling to get up 

"Yes, Lena, you did" Andrew said "Now lets get you fixed up and then you can rest." I nod walking to the infirmary.

Later that night...

"Is it true? The hybrid is here?"

"Yes sir she is, but she is just a girl just in her teens who has no idea her full potential."

"But she is strong, no?"

"Yes, sir stronger than we thought"

"Then we strike tonight, tell the others. There wont be a battle after all."
