Pray We Outlive the Red Roses

Letdown..

I wish I did better in school,
I wish I would've made the right choices,
And followed the rules,
It's like I'm a let down,
Can't get right,
Like my purpose on earth has yet to be found,
I wish I could stop lying,
I wish I could stop hurting people when I'm not even trying,
I wish I knew why my father wasn't there,
Going through life,
Feeling like I don't belong here,
Or anywhere,
If  I was to get cancer or covid,
I wouldn't even fight it,
I'd distance myself,
Let it take over my body,
Cause maybe everyone would be better off without me,
Maybe that'll end all the suffering in silence.
