~your POV~

It has been three days since i have woken up, and a week since the battle. I sit on my hospital bed waiting to be discharged recalling the talk with the doctor.

*flashback*

".... (Y/n) the move you pulled on the island has damaged some of your organs: your heart, your lungs and your kidneys. Thus, the damage is not permanent thanks to Recovery Girl and Mal's continuous efforts; it will take a while for your body to heal itself. I recommend you a lot of rest and try to keep your quirk usage as minimal as possible. Focus on relaxing and meditating. I have already given your guardian the prescriptions. Take your pills on time and drink at least 3 liters per day to get the poison out of your system. In addition, try going for a walk every occasionally. It helps your heart condition." He says and put his clipboard aside, "And no matter what happens. Do not stress at all". He warns me looking me dead in the eyes. "That would be all. You have some visitors waiting. I will let them in. Take care." The doctor gets out leaving me waiting.

*end of flashback*

"Get your head out of the clouds already," a voice snaps at me. I turn my attention towards the source and see Barbra, the nurse who has been taking care of me, grinning at me. Beside her stands Toshinori. "The doctor has discharged you and your guardian is here to pick you up," she continues. Barbra walks up to me and whispers in my ear "oh and there is a handsome kid waiting downstairs at the gates. Tall, attractive eyes, red and white hair. And he has a bouquet of flowers. Real nice, don't you think?" she teases. Oh my God, Shoto is outside. I must look terrible. Earlier, i looked in the mirror. My hair was in a messy bun, i had dark circles under my eyes and my face could not look any paler! I start to freak out but a warm embrace calms me down. Toshinori is holding my head to his chest, since he is taller than me and with his free hand is soothing my hair in a calming way. "Calm down baby girl. Remember what the doctor said". His calm voice relaxes my nerves and i mutter him a thank you. He lets go and grabs my bag.

Once we arrive to the gates, Shoto and i lock eyes. A smile makes its way on my face, "Hey Shoto," i say as i approach him.

"Hello (y/n). Merry Christmas," he greets and offers me the red roses, a tint of pink on his cheeks. I accept the bouquet as a blush creeps on my face too. Toshinori is smirking and i am resisting the temptation to wipe it off his face.

"Merry Christmas to you too," i reply him sniffing the roses.

"Come on you two. I will drive you back to the dormitory," Toshinori exclaims making his way to the parking lot. We get inside the car; I sit in the backseat next to Shoto because my lazy guardian has decided to put my bags in the passenger seat.

As we race through the streets towards UA, silence fills the atmosphere. I decide to break the silence, "so how is everyone back at UA?"

(The following conversation will be between you and Shoto. Please note that Shoto gets talkative around you. Everyone has a person to whom they can open up without noticing).

"Everyone is fine and ready to welcome you back. When i left, they were decorating the common area with Eri. She is very excited to see you again. She even asked for everyone's help for choosing you a gift,"

"Oh how sweet of her. Soooooooooo what did she bring me?"

"I am afraid I can't tell. Eri made me pinky-promise her,"

"And knowing you, you wouldn't break a promise,"

"Exactly. Seems like your mentor taught you well. I respect that you told us the truth during the mission and rest assured that none of us has brought the subject up in front of the others neither between ourselves. However, i must express my concern that you are still hiding something,"
