Ch.19: You Need To Know

Turns out, it is just more than a movie date...

~Author's POV~ Warning: spoiler

"They said our internship is far away this time..." Ochako says

"Really?" Asui asks surprised.

"Tsuyu too? Really? Us too! Us too!" Kaminari exclaims excitedly while Mineta runs to him.

Kaminari's excitement attracts everyone else's attention.

"We're also going somewhere far that day?!"

"HUH? WHAT?!"

"Wait so are we..."

"ME TOO" (spoiler ends here)

You look around wondering if that is what Mal was talking about. "What about you (Y/n)?" Ochako asks making everyone turn to you.

You hesitate before you answer, "i-I won't be joining you guys... My internship is... Well" you clear your throat, trying to get yourself together. "My internship is taking place outside of Japan..." you murmur the last part.

A silence falls upon the room before a loud yell makes you take stumble, "WHAT?!"

Ashido runs to you and takes your hand, "That is so cool! I wish i could intern with you! You get to travel!"

"Ashido," Shoto comes between you two, "the reason she is going away is anything but cool".

"Sho" you place your hand on his shoulder. He takes a step to the side and wraps your hand in his.

"I didn't want to tell you guys this early but you need to know," Shoto squeezes your hand and you smile at him.

"Are you two getting married?" the dump head Kaminari asks.

"What?! No" you reply blushing madly.

"I intend to take (y/n) as my wife when we both achieve our goals and are ready to settle down" Shoto says casually as if he is reading an article out loud. How can you be so casual? You yell in your head while your blush deepens in color. Seeing you in this state makes a smirk appear on Shoto's face and Kaminari shoots you a wink.

"Stop it you two! Let her tell us what she has to say! It is important!" Momo scolds them.

"Thanks Momo," you start, take a deep breath then proceed, "you need to know that i am not an ordinary student. I was sent here by the agency i work with to insure you are ready for what is thrown at you. My real name is (Y/n) Takahashi, Takahashi as in my grandma's last name. I am a certified agent from the special service of the government, been that way for three years now". You stop giving them time to process what you just told them. You scan their faces, some are in deep thoughts while the others are just gaping at you. Lee raises her hand shyly, causing you to raise an eyebrow in response.

"You're kidding me with the hand raise" i exclaim calmly.

"Sorry," she squeals, "i was just wondering why you decided to finally tell us that."

Shoto tenses at your side, clearly not wanting to hear it again. You sigh, guilt filling the pit of your stomach, "because... it's because i am not coming back this time". Audible gasps of shock surround you. Everyone starts talking at the same time, however it doesn't last long. A knock on the front door silences them.

~Your POV~

I wish i had more time to explain everything to them. God knows how much i will miss them. I wince internally at how loud they get. A knock on the door draws their attention. I exhale slowly and turn to Shoto.
