Little void hands gripped the cold metal edge trying to cling on like life-no because their life depended on it. their sibling turned their two-horned mask to face them like they had sensed their fear deep inside. Their father a king who was as pale as the light outside shining into the dark abyss below them. their father had turned to leave the room with his perfect vessel leaving the other to slip off and die with their fellow kin.
This perfect vessel looked between the fether and their sibling who would slip off the ledge at any second and finally, they chose.
pulling their sibling up from the ledge and looking to their unsatisfied and disappointed father with a kingsmold outside the doorway waiting to take back the king. the king nodded to the kingsmold to attack the siblings and let them take a dive into the abyss to die like all the other and wait for another perfect vessel again.
The younger vessel gripped the old perfect vessel's hand a jumped down into the abyss below not allowing their kin to get hurt after being saved.
they would be their protector now
