"be safe and call me when you get there," dejah squeezed her mom tightly, disregarding the tears in her eyes. "i love you,"
"i love you more," she released her mom. her bavs were already in baggage claim, all she had to do was meet with the boys and spend the last hour together.
she walked towards her gate entrance, instantly spotting the gang. es was even there but she had a little brother there as well. "hey friends!" she tried to be genuine.
"baby!" esmeralda pouted, throwing her arms around dejah. "don't leave me," she whined.
"i'll be back," she laughed, but gripped her harder.
she felt the stare from mattia but she ignored him. "you already got your bags in baggage claim?" alvaro asked, holding onto his little carry on.
dejah nodded. "i was gonna' come earlier but i decided to spend time with my mom," she informed. they were all probably wondering why she didn't come earlier, but she didn't really care.
"why we're you crying?" ale asked, "you aren't leaving forever," he mocked her tone, making a face. he looked like he had shed a few tears himself. to be honest, they all did.
she glanced at mattia, feeling a pang of shock when their eyes met. she quickly looked back to alejandro with a rough smile, "bad day i guess,"
"i know how your dad is," alvaro spoke up. "i promise you if you need me to have my mom or dad pick you up, i can," he tossed an arm around her shoulders, shaking her around a bit to lighten her up.
"thanks," she leaned into his hug.
"and when you do get situated, call me asap," esmeralda pointed a finger, "i will legit fly up there unexpected if you don't," she threatened, but it wasn't even really a threat. if she could, she would have es come up there as well.
