(Deku's pov)
I'm walking through the streets on my way home from school, crying, when I see a ball of slime flowing out of the street drain in front of me. I was just standing there. I couldn't move even if I tried, and trust me I tried. I was paralyzed with fear. The slime villain said something I couldn't hear before surrounding me with his slime made body. He mumbles something else about needing a body but I can't hear well so I tried my best to ignore him and just kept struggling with my quickly diminishing strength. My vision starts to go fuzzy and can vaguely make the shape of who I think is All Might. I see a tiny plume of light from somewhere and I know for a fact that it couldn't have been All Might. Right after I see his mouth move to probably say his famous line before I pass out.
I slowly start to wake up with a killer headache from the lack of oxygen and suffocation... or downing, whichever you wanna say. I let my head back down as I had it lifted and groaned quietly All Might speaks up and I wince before realizing who it is and I jump up, ignoring my pounding headache and I freak out. 'Oh my god, it's all might!'
(time skip, because I'm lazy)
I few on all might's leg up to a building. it's now that I remember what kitchen said to me.
(short flashback ) ¨ HEY DEKU IF YOU REALLY WANT A QUIRK THERE MIGHT ACTUALLY BE A WAY FOR YOU...!!!¨ I look at the harsh friend across the room with tears and hope in my eyes. ¨JUST GO TAKE A NOSEDIVE OFF THE NEAREST BUILDING, AND HOPE YOU GET A QUIRK IN YOUR NEXT LIFE! HAHA!!¨ I look back down and the tears start pouring again. 'stupid tears. why can't I control you' i look out the window next to me and see my burnt notebook slowly sinking into the fountain outside school. ( end flashback)
'maybe if I just jump... it might work.....no... I cant besides I have questions for all might ¨welp. I've gotta go, get him to the police.¨ ¨wait....do...do you think I can be a hero without a quirk?¨ he pauses and looks away sadly ¨ I'm sorry boy, but without a quirk... it's just possible. ¨ from that quote on and with everything he says I can't hear any of it. its as if I'm underwater and someone trying to talk to me.its all muffled noise.
