Todoroki Shoto b-day Special

A/n: alright boys and girls and non binary MHA fans, yesterday was the infamous Todoroki Shotos birthday so enjoy.

Shotos POV

*alarm clock sound*

I roll over in my bed and turn off the annoying clock. *phone alert* I check my phone to see a text from my sister

Sister: Happy Birthday, one year closer to death

I chuckle at her text, she has a strange sense of humor but so do I.

Me: you shouldn't be talking
Me: but thanks

Sister: have fun the big 18

Me: okay, talk later

I decided to get out of bed instead of scrolling through Instagram and other cringy apps. I walked out into the living room of Izuku's apartment to see him cooking. Man that smells good. "Morning Izu" I state he turns around, "good morning Sho" with the same adorable smile. "What are you cooking?" I ask stepping closer to the stove "pancakes and eggs" "do want help?" I question "no, I'm good besides-" he pauses shutting off the stove "I'm done, go sit down" Izu says "uh,okay?" I awkwardly reply.

Izuku's POV

The other night Fuyumi, Shos sister told me that today is his birthday. Apparently Shoto does not really like celebrating it though. I sent Shoto to the table where I put a little present. "Hey Izu?" Shoto shouts as I walk towards him, "yes?" I reply putting the plates on the table. "Is-is this for me?" Sho asks holding up the envelope with his name written on it. I nod my head yes. "Why?" "Because it's your birthday" I state "how did you know it's my birthday?" Shoto questions "your sister" "oh, thank you" He says with a small smile.

*time skip*

Third person

"Hey Sho?" Izuku starts "Yes Izu" Shoto replies "wha-what do you want to do, since it's your birthday" Izuku stutters. "Uh, I don't really know" the birthday boy pauses to a deep thought. "What about that place we went when we ran away from the paparazzi" Shoto states leaving his thoughts "okay, go get changed and we can go" the greenate states. The two boys get off the couch and to their designated rooms.

Shotos POV

"I forgot how peaceful it was here" I say in awe of the environment once again, "me too" Izu states. "Hey, the willow still has the swing, well more of a rope" I say "I dare you to swing across" Izu says looking up at me. "Why me, it's my birthday anyway" "So" Izu giggles "you go first then I will" I state crossing my arms, "bet bro" Izu says running off. I laugh at his response.

Izuku's POV

"Bet bro" I say running off to the rope by the willow. I'd be lying if I said I'm not scared, the water is right there. I fall in I'm going to be wet and gross. "Just do it" Sho shouts. I stick my tongue out at him and proceed to swing across.

Shotos POV

I didn't think he would do it. My does he look happy though. "You're turn Sho" Izuku states running up to me "I think I'll pass" "uh-uh you said you would go if I did, so go" Izuku demands "fine" I give in after he gives me the puppy dog eyes. Don't judge me. Okay uh, low key, high key, mid key scared but we got to impress. "Just do it !" Izuku shouts. I stick my tongue out like he did me and swing.

Izuku's POV

He looks see happy and free, free from everything.

Before I knew it the sun was setting and I was tackled to the moss ground by Sho. I yelp in surprise "you scared me Sho" I state to the peppermint above me "oops" is all he says. We stared at one another it may have been like every rom-com but it was nice. I never realized how blue, icy blue Shotos eyes are or eye. Shoto leaned in, oh no there no microwave now what's happening. He kissed my cheek! "Thank you for today" he whispered in my ear. I cupped his face, "happy birthday Sho" I say hushed as he tunes red.
