Chapter 2- Happiness Never Lasts for Long

( Tyler's P.O.V.) 

( In a clearing near the HA) 

I focused hard. I needed to get a hang of this. Come on, come on!

" You have to actually focus on the fire, not think about focusing on love." Cole said as he started to rub my back. 

He had already mastered his flame. I seriously wanted Belial to just give me control without earning it. Is that so much to ask? 

He hasn't said a word to me since Cole and I met. 

" Ty." Cole said in an aggravated tone, chills covering my body. 

" Sorry, I just can't." I said, basically jumping up. 

" This has to be done, you said it yourself." Cole repeated. 

" I can't. I literally can't! Can't you see! I-"

" Don't say another word." Cole hissed as he appeared in front of me, his breath cold against my ear.

" I can't." I whimpered in a low voice. 

Cole pulled me in as tightly as possible. 

I'm tired of being broken. 

( Lilith's P.O.V.) 

I did feel guilty about putting my little raven in the situation she was in, but I know she enjoyed shaking under me last night.

I have all that I ever wanted currently and it felt so nice. 

I didn't even see anything in the fridge that I could make for her, so I teleported to the store, grabbed some groceries fast, and left. No one seeing me. 

I used my speed and was done with cooking in a blink of an eye and went upstairs, a bright smile on my face. 

Our morning was fantastic, I never wanted this to end. 

But sadly, the world never wants anyone to be happy anymore.
