Chapter 6- Odd Creature
" Go! Finish cleaning up the city!" I yelled, using my flame to create a forcefield so the fire wouldn't touch them.
" He's after me. I can buy us some time." A woman said.
" The only one that stands a chance against this thing is me."
" Be careful Buffy."
" Way ahead of you."
" STARS." It said again as it began to follow them, but with two bullets to the dome, it turned it's attention to me.
I dispatched it as fast as I could and found a ship inside of it.
" It was controlled. Makes sense now."
I caught up with my team and we encountered another odd-looking creation.
It was tall, wearing a trench coat and a hat.
I dealt with it as harshly as I did with the other, finding that it was controlled as well.
We finished cleaning up the city the next day. Sadly, there were only a handful of survivors.
We found out that the G-Virus as it was called, wasn't meant to be weaponized. But it was.
Off of a gut feeling, I cracked that briefcase open, finding samples of the G-Virus which I took to my trusted scientist that made a cure.
I was home, in bed with my women and my little girl. My uneasy, very odd feeling growing rapidly.
( I apologize for the short chapters. I didn't really have the idea's to go along with it. But I know you guys enjoyed it anyway.)
