Lacuna - an unfilled space or interval; a gap.

Stephen had been levitating over his bed with the Cloak of Levitation in the room, he was practicing spells and constantly checking the door, wanting to be sure that Tony, or anyone for that matter would not walk in on him.

Though, for a second he had gotten distracted with his eyes closed. Within that second, Tony had walked in.

"So you are a wizard!" Tony Stark exclaimed, making Stephen quickly open his eyes and fall back down onto the bed with a flinch.

"Ah! Tony! Didn't you still have another class?!" He spoke with surprise, glancing at the clock, Stephen had lost track of time. "Oh..."

It was silent between the two.

"I knew it. You are a wizard."

"I'm not a wizard, I'm a sorcerer."

"Same thing." Tony dismissed quickly, sitting on his bed while Stephen sat on his own. They stared at eachother. "Why are you keeping it a secret?"

He looked down, closing the book "I was told to, i must listen to The Ancient One no matter what. I'm not completely sure why."

" 'The Ancient One?' " Tony questioned with a chuckle "Quite the name. And you don't question anything she tells you to do-?

"Well, not anything. I try not to for the most part though. Why are you so interested?" Stephen asked, looking up at Tony with suspicion and curiosity.

"Because I've never met a wizard. Especially a wizard that hides his powers."

Stephen grumbled at the word 'wizard', narrowing his eyes. Tony was about to ask something else when he interrupted him.

"I'm not showing you the things i learned. Don't get your hopes up."

"Aweee" Tony Stark groaned, annoying Stephen even more "Can't you show me something? Oh! How did you fly?"

"I levitated." He spoke

"Yeah, how did you levitate?"

Stephen Strange sighed loudly, he glanced at his cloak which had gotten off of his shoulders. "That's how." He replied as the Cloak of Levitation floated inbetween them.

"Woah...so the cape is helping you levitate?"

"Cloak." Stephen spoke as the Cloak of Levitation lifted it's right side to hit Tony in the side. The boy only glared at the cloak in response.

"Yeah- okay. Cloak.....and what about your hands?"

Tony glanced at the others shaking hands, they looked horrible to him. He could tell that Stephen was uncomfortable as he brought his hands into a tense fist.

"..A car accident." Strange finally replied with a low voice, by now he had forgotten the challenge that Steve had given him. "It led me to meet The Ancient One."

Tony got confused, there's actually someone out there called The Ancient One? He wanted to ask about it, but it seemed Stephen wasn't ready for any more questions.

"Huh..." Stark replied, standing up "I'm sorry that had to happen to you, but cheer up. You don't have to hide your magic around me aswell." The Cloak of Levitation made it's way back to Stephen, resting on his shoulders while he looked up at the other

"Those are your words of comfort?" Stephen replied with a grin, feeling a little better just by smiling at Tony's words, since they were failed comfort words. "Wow do you suck at this."

"Okay Sherlock, what do you expect me to say? I'm here for you and I will tell you how amazing you are." Tony mocked in an odd voice, making Stephen let out a small chuckle while the other continued, "No, because I won't do that. So don't expect me to do that either."

"Okay okay, I get it Mr. Sympathetic." Stephen spoke as Tony turned around, walking over to his desk. "Good." He responded, playfully rolling his eyes at the nickname.

Stephen smiled, he felt a little more comfortable being in the room with Tony, but he was annoying sometimes nonetheless. He glanced at the other while he worked on his project, a silence overcoming the two of them. Stephen wasn't sure if he would consider it comfortable silence in this situation.

"What exactly can you do with your magic?" Tony asked curiously, not looking back at him.

"Oh..." He hesitated "I can lift things, make portals and shields, swords, illusions, go out of my body, and more smaller things that aren't as important."

"Go out of your body?"

"Yes, it's called Astral Projection. Basically, while my body rests, I'm active in the Astral Dimension."

"I understood none of that, but okay."

Stephen shrugged, grabbing the book beside him while he watched Tony for a few more seconds. He was thin and short, his hair was messy but nicely done at the same time, giving it a distinct look, he worked on the robotic parts as if he understood how they worked perfectly, giving a rhythmic look to what he was doing.

Strange moved his gaze back down at the book infront of him, he went back to working on his spell, levitating for it.

He took a deep breath, concentrating on the words in the book as he waved his hands. Though, nothing happened. It continued like this for a few times, the problem being that he was distracted. Stephen kept thinking of Tony and what had just happened.

He shook his head in frustration, sighing, trying to clear his thoughts.

"You okay there, wizard?" A voice asked, Tony's voice.

Stephen jumped and looked over at the other, apparently he was watching him trying to perform his spell. Stephen hadn't even noticed him somehow.

"What do you want?" He asked, angry that he couldn't do the spell.

"I want you to calm down, you're not helping either of us with you frustrated." Tony spoke, chuckling a little.

"Nope, I'm out. You're annoying. Call Bruce over or something." Stephen sighed, shaking his head and landing on the bed. He stood up and went to leave the room, but was stopped by the cloak.

"What? I can't focus with him here." He replied, confused. Tony smiled and crossed his hands. The cloak got off of Stephen's shoulders.

"It seems like someone likes me." The other spoke, referring to the cloak.

The Cloak of Levitation pointed it's corner to Tony, Stephen groaned.

"No. No, no, no. I'm not getting along with him."

The cloak hit Stephen's arm, making him flinch and look offended.

"If you like him so much why don't you stay here and deal with him." Stephen hissed a bit, turning around and leaving. He left the cloak and Tony behind in the room.
